Role Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented accounting professional to join our US Finance team. This role supports our crypto, money service business (MSB), and broker-dealer operations - all of which have grown significantly as eToro expands its regulated US footprint.

You will support the US Financial Controller across all accounting matters, with emphasis on financial reporting, regulatory reporting, internal controls, tax, and treasury management. As a now-public company, the scope and visibility of this role are substantial, and you will have real opportunity to grow your impact alongside the business.

Key Responsibilities

You’ll play a key role in supporting eToro’s regulated US entities, combining hands-on accounting with regulatory reporting, controls, automation and digital asset operations.

Own key elements of the month-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, forecasting and management reporting.
Ensure financial reporting remains compliant with US GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements.
Support regulatory reporting across our US entities, including FOCUS reports, NMLS call reports, DFS reporting and transaction-level reporting for MSB and Virtual Currency operations.
Partner with the US Controller and global Finance teams on intercompany reconciliations, cash postings, prepaid expenses, fixed assets and accounting adjustments.
Support our evolving crypto and digital asset operations, including custody processes and digital asset accounting requirements.
Manage core Accounts Payable activities, including vendors, invoices, purchase orders, wires and corporate spend platforms such as Brex and Expensify.
Support financial, regulatory and tax audits, ensuring requests are accurate, complete and delivered on time.
Own client and vendor tax reporting requirements, including W-9, W-8 and 1099 reporting, working alongside external tax advisors.
Identify control gaps and build stronger, scalable processes that improve accuracy and audit readiness.
Use automation and AI-enabled tools to streamline finance workflows, reduce manual work and accelerate the month-end close.
Take ownership of ad hoc projects and evolving priorities across multiple regulated US entities.

Requirements

3+ years of accounting experience, ideally combining public accounting with industry experience.
Experience within a broker-dealer, fintech, financial services or regulated environment is strongly preferred.
Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
CPA preferred; Series 27 or 28 would be a strong advantage.
Experience working with ERP and finance systems such as NetSuite, QuickBooks or Priority.
Strong understanding of financial controls, reconciliations and month-end close processes.
A track record of automating, simplifying or improving finance processes rather than simply maintaining them.
Comfortable managing multiple priorities and collaborating with colleagues across different teams and time zones.
Strong communication skills and the confidence to take ownership.
Curiosity about crypto, blockchain and digital assets, and an interest in how the financial landscape is evolving.

Our Hiring Philosophy:

At eToro, AI is changing how we build, work and make decisions, and our hiring approach reflects that. We are building an AI-first organisation where people are encouraged to use AI thoughtfully.

That starts with how we hire. Throughout our recruitment process, we may use AI-enabled tools, including interview notetakers and other technologies that help us capture information accurately, improve consistency and create a better experience for candidates and interviewers. These tools support our feedback and assessment outcomes. Hiring decisions remain grounded in running fair and consistent interview processes, human judgement, critical thinking, and thorough evaluation of experience, ability and motivation that are aligned to our business and role requirements.

We also want candidates to be comfortable working with AI. Depending on the role, we may explore how you use AI tools in your day-to-day work, how you think about their opportunities and limitations, and how you would contribute to eToro’s continued AI build-out.

For us, being AI-first is not about replacing human judgement. It is about combining human expertise, creativity and accountability with technology that helps us do our best work and accelerate our growth. In the end, that's what we're hiring for: human insight, supercharged by AI.
