Know where you belong!

Match Group is a leading provider of dating products across the globe. Our portfolio includes Tinder, Hinge, Match, Meetic, PlentyOfFish, OkCupid, The League, HER, and others, each designed to spark meaningful connections for singles worldwide. Creating a sense of belonging doesn’t stop at our products - it’s the foundation of every team we hire.

When it comes to dating, the connection starts online, but the real magic happens once you meet in real life (IRL). We think the same is true for creating the best platforms, so we work together IRL 3 days/week.

HER is the world’s largest community for lesbian, bisexual, and queer people. We’re a global, subscription-based consumer product serving millions of LGBTQIA+ users across 55+ countries — helping people connect, date, and build community in ways that feel authentic, affirming, and fun.

HER is part of Match Group, the global leader in dating products, and sits within Match’s Affinity portfolio alongside other identity-led platforms. This gives us the best of both worlds: the scale, insight, and infrastructure of a global organization, with the autonomy, speed, and cultural focus of a small, mission-driven team. Design at HER is not decorative. It’s a core driver of differentiation, growth, and revenue — and a critical way we show up for our community.

We’re hiring a Senior Product Designer to take end-to-end ownership of key product experiences across our iOS and Android apps (and occasionally web). This is a senior individual contributor role with meaningful autonomy and influence. Your primary focus will be creating distinctive, sapphic-first experiences that clearly differentiate HER in the dating market — while directly supporting rapid active user growth and a strong focus on revenue performance. You’ll partner closely with Product, Engineering, Data, and Leadership to shape what we build, why we build it, and how it performs in the real world.

How you'll make an impact:

End-to-End Product Design
- Own design for complex product areas from discovery through launch and iteration, including both engagement and revenue-focused designs
- Translate ambiguous, high-impact problems into clear user journeys, flows, and interfaces
- Balance user experience, speed of execution, and business impact
Sapphic Differentiation & Experience Design
- Design experiences that feel unmistakably HER — rooted in sapphic culture, joy, intimacy, and community
- Push beyond generic dating patterns to create features users can’t get elsewhere
- Ensure HER’s product experience remains emotionally resonant, culturally specific, and market-differentiated
- Apply and evolve HER’s design system and brand expression
Experimentation & Measurement
- Design experiments and A/B tests in collaboration with Product, Engineering, and DataIterate based on performance data and qualitative insight
- Use learning from experiments to inform future design decisions
Prototyping & Validation
- Create prototypes at varying levels of fidelity to explore, align, and validate ideas
- Support regular user testing to de-risk solutions before build
- Clearly communicate design intent and rationale to cross-functional partners
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Product Managers to shape roadmaps and scope work
- Partner with Engineering to ship high-quality experiences efficiently
- Present work confidently to leadership and incorporate feedback without losing clarity or direction

What Success Looks Like:

Shipped features that clearly differentiate HER in the dating market
Measurable improvements in active users, retention, or revenue
Strong, trusted partnerships with Product and Engineering
A product experience that feels bold, intentional, and deeply aligned with our sapphic community

Our Values

Take the Lead: We don't ghost our work or each other. Just as users don't leave their matches hanging, we don't let each other down.
Move Fast: We have a bias for action and urgency. Something that could be done tomorrow would be better if done today.
Better Together: We keep connection at the heart of dating and at the heart of how we work. Just as our users are better when they connect with others, so are we when we collaborate.
Real Talk: We say the hard thing the human way. Just as we ask our users to behave with kindness and candor in our community, we expect all of us to do the same.
Safety First: We act with integrity, transparency, and consistency so people feel safe—whether they're swiping, matching, or working alongside us.
Spark Fun: We have fun to unlock creativity, fuel innovation, and help us build better experiences for daters.

If you require a reasonable accommodation to participate in the hiring process — such as during pre-employment testing or interviews — please indicate this by selecting “Yes” in the accommodation request field. We’ll reach out to discuss your needs if you're selected for the interview stage.
