As a BTP Solution Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and supporting scalable, secure, and reusable integration solutions on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). You will enable seamless system-to-system connectivity, data consistency, and event-driven integrations across enterprise platforms.
By partnering with architects, application teams, and business stakeholders, you will help drive enterprise modernization through standardized integration solutions that ensure reliability, scalability, and compliance across both internal and external ecosystems.
WHAT YOU WILL DO…
Integration Design & Development
Design and build integrations using SAP BTP services (Integration Suite, API Management, Event Mesh)Develop inbound, outbound, and bidirectional interfaces between SAP and non-SAP systemsImplement APIs, event-driven integrations, and middleware solutions aligned with enterprise standardsPerform data transformation and mapping (JSON, XML, IDoc) based on business requirementsArchitecture & Collaboration
Partner with application owners, architects, and business teams to gather and refine integration requirementsContribute to technical design discussions including interface logic, APIs, and event-driven architecturesSupport enterprise integration patterns such as Hub-and-Spoke and Pub/SubTesting, Deployment & Support
Support integration testing, deployment, and release management activitiesMonitor integrations and troubleshoot production issues across distributed systemsEnsure reliability, performance, and operational stability of integrationsGovernance, Security & Compliance
Ensure integrations meet security, privacy, and compliance requirements—especially for sensitive dataAlign solutions with enterprise standards, best practices, and integration governance modelsAgile Delivery & Documentation
Participate in Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and estimationCreate and maintain technical documentation, design artifacts, and operational runbooksContribute to Integration Hub assets and reusable integration componentsWHO YOU WILL WORK WITH…

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field8+ years of experience in SAP or cloud-based integration developmentHands-on experience with SAP BTP services (Integration Suite, API Management, Event Mesh)Strong experience with APIs, middleware, and data transformation (JSON, XML, IDoc)Solid understanding of SAP ecosystems (ECC, S/4HANA, PO/PI, etc.)Experience with cloud platforms and modern integration patternsFamiliarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deploymentsProven ability to troubleshoot integration issues across distributed systemsIT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE… (NICE TO HAVE)
Experience with SAP Extension Suite, CAP, UI5, Node.js, or JavaKnowledge of DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelinesExposure to Azure integration or hybrid integration architecturesUnderstanding of event-driven and microservices architecturesSAP BTP or Integration Suite certifications
Compensation and Benefits: The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between
$135,900-$195,400
Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
