Job Summary
The Manager PSEG Foundation reports to Senior Manager of the PSEG Foundation and Corporate Social Responsibility which reports to the President of the PSEG Foundation & Director Corporate Social Responsibility in the Corporate Citizenship organization. This position will lead and manage the key day-to-day activities/operations of the PSEG Foundation agenda. The position is responsible for managing cross-functional teams internally and externally and may direct staff to ensure that the Senior Manager of the PSEG Foundation and Corporate Social Responsibility and the Foundation President and Sr. Vice President’s vision for the foundation is being applied. This position directs Foundation resources to key areas of PSEG's philanthropic giving strategy, societal investment strategy (ESG), establishes and fosters strategic partnerships all while supporting the corporation’s vision through defined pillars of the Foundation. This position serves as the primary support and designated backup to the Senior Manager PSEG Foundation and Corporate Social Responsibility, on Foundation matters, providing operational continuity and assistance in areas pertaining to the Foundation where the Senior Manager PSEG Foundation serves as the subject matter expert and primary liaison to all executive members of the Foundation Board of Trustees/EOG for Foundation matters. This position in conjunction with the Senior Manager of the PSEG Foundation and Corporate Social Responsibility and the President of the Foundation works directly with the corporate secretary’s office/board secretary on all matters involving the legal management and oversight of this company (Company defined as the PSEG Foundation).

Job Responsibilities
- Lead and Manage the day to day activities/operations of the PSEG Foundation which is driven by the
PSEG corporate vision and the corporate citizenship agenda. May manage/supervise the internal/external Foundation team members. Reports monthly/quarterly the foundations activities and financial status to the board of directors (nine to twelve executives of PSEG).
- Plan, create and facilitate societal investment strategies through philanthropic giving and working with key strategic partners that aim to empower underserved communities through social and environmentally sustainable activities, while strengthening the PSEG brand. Consistently assess the evolution of current philanthropic strategies and implement when appropriate to improve the purposeful and focused giving strategies of the PSEG Foundation.
- Manage the key internal and external organizational relationships that are key to the daily operation of the Foundation. Ex: System Integrator/Payment processor/Outside Counsel/Tax attorney/Crises Fund manager/External Affairs/Governmental Affairs etc. Work with the Senior Manager PSEG Foundation and Corporate Social Responsibility on external board placements for non-profits as well as annual PSEG officer gifts. Manage the employee crises fund process for enterprise. Support the implementation of strategic initiatives and ensure alignment with the Senior Manager of the PSEG Foundation and Corporate Social Responsibility’s vision and organizational objectives including the payment process for employee matching gifts and volunteer grants.
- Responsible for ensuring all philanthropic/foundation giving policies are current and are being abided by. Plan and implement strategies to keep the Senior Manager of the PSEG Foundation and Corporate Social Responsibility and the President of the foundation informed on all budgeting activities for monthly/quarterly reporting to the board of directors
- In collaboration with the communication’s team, develop and implement internal/external PSEG Foundation/Corporate Social Responsibility communications strategies.
Job Specific Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s in Non-Profit Management, Philanthropy, Business, Management and 10 or more years of experience in relevant field.
- Proven track record in corporate societal engagement and corporate sustainability performance
- Knowledge of best practice in giving, grant making, community partnership, and volunteerism strategies
- Knowledge and relationships in communities within PSEG territory
- Ability to plan, stage and run events and lead community and employee teams
- Proven track record of executing events
