As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and support a secure environment for employees and visitors. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and access-control protocols at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials, issuing visitor badges, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and directing authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
- Help protect restricted production, warehouse, shipping, receiving, and administrative areas by observing access activity and reporting unusual or unauthorized entry attempts.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, exits, perimeter areas, parking areas, and operational spaces, documenting observations and reporting maintenance or security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
- At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
