We are hiring a PROPERTY MAINTENANCE COORDINATOR. This is a temp to perm position with opportunity of full-time hire.
Job description
The Maintenance Coordinator supports the day-to-day maintenance and operational needs of the property. This position coordinates maintenance requests, preventive maintenance, vendors and contractors, building inspections, and renovation projects while serving as a liaison between residents, maintenance staff, vendors, and management.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinate, prioritize, and follow up on resident maintenance requests and work orders.
- Communicate with residents regarding maintenance scheduling, access, repairs, and follow-up.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance, routine servicing, and inspections of building systems and equipment.
- Maintain schedules and records for preventive maintenance, inspections, repairs, and service work.
- Schedule and coordinate vendors, contractors, and service providers, including building access and follow-up on outstanding work.
- Obtain and organize proposals, estimates, service reports, and other maintenance-related documentation.
- Conduct and/or coordinate routine property inspections and report maintenance, safety, or operational concerns to management.
- Coordinate apartment renovations and contractor activities, including access, deliveries, inspections, and building requirements.
- Assist with required building inspections, testing, and maintenance-related compliance activities.
- Track ongoing repairs, projects, and outstanding maintenance issues through completion.
- Coordinate with management and office staff regarding resident notices, building projects, shutdowns, access, and other maintenance-related matters.
- Assist with urgent or emergency maintenance situations as needed.
- Maintain organized maintenance, vendor, inspection, and renovation records.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in property management, facilities, building maintenance coordination, or a related field preferred.
- General knowledge of building maintenance and preventive maintenance practices.
- Strong organizational, communication, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, vendors, work orders, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to use property management and office software.
- Ability to communicate professionally with residents, employees, contractors, vendors, and management.
Schedule: 8:30AM - 5:00PM
Pay: $22-$25/hr.
