Be the person people call when technology needs to work.
At Bohler, technology is a critical part of how our engineers, planners, surveyors, and business teams get their work done. As an IT Support Technician, you'll be the person they turn to when something isn't working, when they need new equipment, or when they're trying to figure out how to get the most out of the technology around them.
You'll work across hardware, software, mobile devices, networking, business applications, and emerging technologies, supporting employees in offices and remotely across the organization.
You'll also have a front-row seat to how we're incorporating AI into the workplace, helping employees adopt new tools, troubleshooting issues, and contributing ideas that make technology more useful and effective.
If you enjoy solving problems, helping people, and troubleshooting technology issues, you'll find plenty of opportunities to make an impact here. Whether you're supporting end users, implementing new tools, or learning emerging technologies, you'll be part of a team that values growth, innovation, and continuous improvement.
What You'll Do
You'll be responsible for a broad range of technology support, including:
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system, peripheral, and connectivity issues.
- Provide responsive, customer-focused support to employees working in offices and remotely.
- Manage service requests and incidents through our ticketing system, including documenting issues, prioritizing work, and escalating when necessary.
- Configure, image, deploy, recover, and maintain employee workstations and related equipment.
- Support Windows 11 and Microsoft 365, along with applications used throughout an engineering and professional services environment.
- Support specialized applications including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Bluebeam Revu, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Newforma.
- Help employees get the most out of AI tools and capabilities, including user enablement, adoption, troubleshooting, technology evaluation, and continuous improvement.
- Support company-owned and employee-owned iOS and Android devices.
- Troubleshoot printers, copiers, scanners, and large-format plotters.
- Maintain accurate hardware and software inventory in our CMDB.
- Support employee onboarding, transfers, and offboarding.
- Create and maintain knowledge-base articles and other technical documentation.
- Partner with vendors and other IT teams to resolve issues that require additional expertise.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to help respond to critical technology issues that impact the business.
- Travel to Bohler offices and other locations as needed
