About Senior Helpers of Woodbridge
Senior Helpers of Woodbridge is a locally owned provider of non-medical home care services dedicated to helping seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes.
We are looking for a compassionate, dependable Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as our Director of Nursing (DON) on a part-time/per Diem basis. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced RN seeking flexible hours while helping oversee clinical quality and making a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and their families.
What You'll Do
- Conduct initial nursing assessments for new clients and develop individualized Plans of Care.
- Conduct required in-home supervisory visits and evaluate each client's Plan of Care.
- Complete reassessments and update Plans of Care as client needs change.
- Monitor client condition and communicate changes or concerns to the appropriate members of the care team.
- Provide clinical supervision, guidance, and support to Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs).
- Assist with caregiver orientation, competency validation, and documentation of delegated nursing tasks when applicable.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, visits, and Plans of Care.
- Help ensure services are provided in accordance with applicable New Jersey home care regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with office staff, caregivers, clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to support quality client care.
- Provide clinical oversight and guidance as the agency's client census grows.
Compensation
This is a W-2 per Diem position with compensation based on the type of work performed.
Hourly Rate: $55-$60 per hour for applicable administrative, training, meeting, clinical oversight, or other hourly RN responsibilities.

Schedule
This is a flexible, per Diem position. You provide your general availability, and client visits are scheduled accordingly.
This position can work well as either a primary part-time role or as an addition to an RN's existing schedule. Visit volume and responsibilities are expected to increase as our client census grows.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) license - required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation - required
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Home care, home health, geriatric, community health, or supervisory nursing experience preferred
- Prior nursing leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong assessment and documentation skills
- Comfortable working independently in clients' homes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Dependable, organized, and able to manage scheduled visits consistently
- Experience working with older adults and their families is strongly preferred

Employment Conditions
Employment is contingent upon verification of applicable professional licenses and successful completion of required background checks, drug screenings, and other requirements applicable to New Jersey home care personnel.
Pay: $55.00-$60.00 per hour, plus applicable per-visit compensation
