Compensation Accounting is responsible for accounting, reporting and payment of salary, bonus (Cash and Equity), other types of remuneration paid to employees of the firm and tax payments to domestic and international tax authorities.
Compensation Accounting has six regional teams strategically located in Jersey City, London, Hong Kong, Bengaluru, Melbourne, and Sao Paulo. This role is located in Jersey City and will support various projects in the Compensation Accounting space for Payroll, Taxes, Cash Bonus, Time & Attendance, Equity, and Planning & Analysis on a global level.
About This Role
We are looking for a Project Coordinator to organize all aspects of successful project execution—from simple tasks to more complex implementations. Project Coordinator responsibilities include following project methodology to prepare comprehensive action plans, including resources, timeframes, and budgets for projects. You will perform various coordination tasks, like schedule and risk management, along with administrative duties, like maintaining project documentation. To succeed in this role, you should have excellent time management and communication skills, as you’ll collaborate with external vendors and internal teams to deliver results on deadlines. Ultimately, the Project Coordinator’s duties are to ensure that all projects meet organizational high-quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate project implementation activities, resources, equipment, and information
- Ensure sound operational controls are maintained and followed in compliance with existing internal/external governance
- Perform and maintain support documentation in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley legislation
- Identify and implement process improvement opportunities
- Perform testing of system enhancements and liaise with the technology support team
- Reconcile data between HCM and Compensation Accounting applications
- Break projects into logical phases and set timeframes
- Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management
- Make sure that clients’ needs are met as projects evolve
- Help manage project budgets while analyzing risks and opportunities
- Oversee project procurement and shipping
- Monitor project progress and handle or escalate issues as appropriate
- Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants
- Work with the Project Manager to eliminate blockers
- Monitor working hours, plans and expenditures
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and report
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Accounting or Finance preferred
- 3+ Years of experience with an ERP implementation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access and Power Point
- Ability to multi-task and remain flexible to constantly changing priorities
- Strong organization and analytical skills
- Extreme attention to details and the ability to follow through
- Demonstrate ability to develop positive working relationships
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Some knowledge of HRMS or Finance product such as Oracle Cloud, SAP, Workday
Salary Range
The expected base salary for this Jersey City, NJ, United States-based position is $85000-$140000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
