About Mountain Creek:
Mountain Creek, a four-season resort, offering skiing/snowboarding, bike park, waterpark, weddings, mountain coaster, restaurants, and lodge.
How the Team Logistics Manager works with the Team:
Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Logistics Team and assisting resort management as a business partner with daily operations of staffing the resort. Works closely with the Human Resources Manager to coordinate the process of getting qualified candidates onboarded, trained and scheduled for the Logistics Team to schedule. Provide feedback to help managers achieve labor goals and maintain a productive roster of team members. Promote positive employee experiences through clear and regular resort communication, events and initiatives.
Team Member Responsibilities:
Participate in implementation and maintenance of team schedules and daily rosters for the season.
Manage daily rosters of call outs find replacements as needed.
Set the tone for a professional, fun, and helpful environment in the Logistic Team Office.
Oversee and provide direction to a team of seasonal Logistics Coordinators to include: training, performance management.
Participate as needed in interviewing and hiring seasonal team members, in conjunction with HR team and onboarding process.
Communicate with the team on open shifts, changes in schedules, and team events.
Maintain relationships with department managers to ensure needs are met and provide feedback.
Provide training/education to team on how to understand schedules, picking up shifts, requesting time off and changes to the schedule.
Assist in organizing team member activities to grow and support a culture emphasizing resort and corporate values.
Ensure compliance with all state and federal employment laws and regulations.
Maintain labor management tools such as line schedules and payroll optimization spreadsheets.
Maintain line schedules for each season. Update as necessary based on operational changes.
Provide hiring support for departments with regards to training dates, Team Connections, schedule templates.
Respond to departmental daily needs for team members: additions, replacements, etc.
Respond to team needs (i.e. questions, time-off requests, etc.)
Address violations of resort-wide guidelines (i.e. attendance, etc.)
Act as primary communication portal with team member and maintain communications corners in conjunction with HR team.
Review team member attendance and address as needed.
Resort performance management of team members
Other duties as assigned by the General Manager
Team Member Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Human Resources/Business or work experience equivalent
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a high volume office
1 year minimum experience supervising others
Flexible work schedule; available to work weekends.
Dedication and personal pride in taking ownership of their work and team.
Strong organizational, time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work with several business units and all levels of team members.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficient with Google Suite
