What's the role?
The Marketing Manager, Customer Marketing is responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing integrated digital marketing campaigns and content strategies that increase brand awareness, generate demand, and strengthen customer engagement across digital channels. The role is responsible for managing digital media, social media, marketing automation, and content development and social media management while ensuring consistent brand messaging, effective campaign execution, and measurable business results. Through collaboration with cross-functional teams, the role supports lead generation, customer journeys, and digital engagement strategies that contribute to ZEISS Vision Care's growth objectives.

- Develop, execute, and optimize integrated digital marketing campaigns that support brand awareness, lead generation, customer engagement, and business growth across multiple digital channels.
- Manage end-to-end digital campaign planning, including campaign calendars, promotional initiatives, performance monitoring, and continuous optimization.
- Create, manage, and publish engaging digital content across ZEISS Vision Care's digital channels, ensuring alignment with brand standards, marketing objectives, and audience needs.
- Manage the organization's digital & social media strategy and day-to-day operations across platforms including Google, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok, including content publishing, organic & ad placements, community management, social listening, and audience engagement.
- Develop and maintain executive and corporate content calendars, including LinkedIn thought leadership and brand communications.
- Develop content for Salesforce Marketing Cloud activities, including customer journey creation, email campaign development, audience segmentation, lead management, and marketing automation workflows.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Product Management, and external partners to develop digital content, campaign assets, and messaging that support strategic business initiatives.
- Monitor campaign and social media performance using analytics and reporting tools, providing insights and recommendations to improve engagement, conversion, and return on marketing investment.
- Manage digital lead generation initiatives by coordinating campaign execution, lead nurturing, promotional activities, and customer communications to maximize marketing effectiveness.
- Ensure all digital communications, content, and campaigns comply with corporate branding standards, digital best practices, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Regularly interface and collaborate with Digital Marketing counterparts, the Global Marketing team and or agencies or other vendors.
- Follows safety standards and reports any safety concerns to leadership.
Do you qualify?
- 7+ years of marketing experience required, content creation & strategy preferred
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Comprehensive knowledge of digital marketing principles, including campaign management, demand generation, content marketing, email marketing, paid media, and social media marketing.
- Demonstrated experience planning, executing, and optimizing integrated digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
- Proficiency with marketing automation and customer relationship management (CRM) platforms, including Salesforce Marketing Cloud, customer journey creation, audience segmentation, lead nurturing, and campaign reporting.
- Experience managing paid digital media campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads and social media advertising channels.
- Strong knowledge of social media management, including content strategy, publishing, community management, social listening, engagement, and reputation management across platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.
- Excellent content development, copywriting, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to create compelling content for diverse audiences and digital channels.
- Experience developing editorial and campaign calendars while managing multiple concurrent projects and deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign performance metrics, identify insights, and recommend data-driven optimizations to improve marketing effectiveness and ROI.
- Knowledge of digital marketing analytics, SEO/SEM fundamentals, web analytics, and campaign measurement best practices.
- Strong project management, organizational, and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across Marketing, Sales, Product Management, and external agencies.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive alignment.
- Ability to work independently while exercising sound judgment, initiative, creativity, and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of branding principles and the ability to ensure consistent brand messaging and compliance across all digital communications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and common digital marketing, content management, and collaboration tools.
The annual pay range for this position is $82,200 - $102,700.
The pay offered for this role may be influenced by factors such as job location, scope of role, qualifications, education, experience, & complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent.
This position is eligible for a Performance Bonus.
