As an Access Control Officer for a Warehouse Facility, you'll be the first line of defense at the entry and exit points. Whether it's metal detector screening, bag checks, or verifying credentials, we need you to operate with precision and professionalism every shift.

- NEW JERSEY SORA LICENSE REQUIRED
- Site Location: Penns Grove, New Jersey
- Set schedule 1 - Friday (7AM-3PM) Saturday and Sunday (3PM-11PM) (24 Hours Per Week)
- Set schedule 2 - Tuesday (7AM-3PM) Saturday and Sunday (11PM-7AM) (24HPW)
- Competitive hourly wage of $18.25 (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!)

Responsibilities for Access Control Officer:
- Operate walk-through metal detectors and handheld wands to screen employees and visitors entering and exiting the facility
- Conduct bag, package, and personal item inspections in line with site policy
- Identify and prevent prohibited items from entering or leaving the warehouse
- Control access points and verify badges, credentials, and identities
- Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle logs
- Respond quickly to alarms, incidents, or potential threats
- Provide excellent customer service while keeping the screening process moving
- Write detailed reports on events, incidents, and policy violations
- Collaborate with site management and authorities during serious situations
- Ensure the safety and protection of individuals, inventory, and property
Qualifications for Access Control Officer:
- Be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
- Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow screening procedures consistently
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and working in a fast-paced environment
- Responsive with strong problem solving and communication skills
- If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement, or screening/checkpoint experience, even better!
- You have a state license if required
