About the Role
PNY Technologies is seeking a hands-on Quality Manager to build and lead the quality program for a growing business unit focused on fulfillment and product integration. This person will establish the processes and controls used to inspect, integrate, store, and ship products that meet customer requirements.
The role also owns the full RMA and returns process, from customer and warranty returns through vendor returns, failure analysis, product disposition, and corrective action. You’ll work closely with Operations and serve as the main point of contact for customer quality concerns.
What You’ll Do
Build the quality system: Develop and maintain the QMS, including quality procedures, work instructions, inspection plans, document controls, training, and performance metrics.
Strengthen day-to-day operations: Conduct audits across warehouse and integration activities, check adherence to procedures, identify risks, and work with teams to close gaps.
Own RMAs and returns: Manage customer RMAs, dead-on-arrival investigations, warranty returns, vendor returns, failure analysis coordination, and return material disposition.
Solve recurring problems: Lead customer complaint investigations and corrective and preventive action (CAPA) efforts. Use root cause analysis to address underlying issues and confirm that solutions are working.
Partner with customers and suppliers: Handle quality escalations, communicate containment and corrective actions, support customer audits and reviews, and provide quality performance reporting.
Drive improvement: Use audit results, returns data, and customer feedback to improve product handling, operational controls, and the customer experience.
What You Bring
5+ years of progressive quality experience in electronics or server hardware manufacturing, contract manufacturing, distribution, or fulfillment.
Experience establishing quality systems and controls, ideally in a growing operation.
Experience managing RMAs, warranty returns, customer complaints, and corrective action programs.
Knowledge of ISO 9001 principles, process auditing, root cause analysis, supplier quality, failure analysis, and ESD controls.
Experience working with ERP and warehouse management systems.
A hands-on approach and the ability to create processes that operational teams can use consistently.
