Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to support our Product Delivery and Evaluation objectives. This role involves providing end-to-end cross-functional project management for evaluating and operationalizing new products, legislative projects, and enterprise initiatives. The Project Manager will lead large and complex projects, requiring significant resources and entailing substantial risk, while ensuring successful implementation and delivery.
*Position may be either remote or hybrid depending on candidate commute to a hub location. Position requires working East Coast hours but may sit at any US location, Hartford, CT preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end project management for evaluating and operationalizing new products, initiatives, and solutions.
- Lead high-level, large, and complex projects with significant resource requirements and risks.
- Manages development of project plans, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and company objectives.
- Skilled at identifying project risks and issues and demonstrates thought leadership in developing mitigation plans.
- Effectively communicate strategies, goals, and project progress to executive leadership through high-level presentations.
- Collaborate across the enterprise to identify needs, solve complex problems, develop new solutions, and improve products, processes, and services.
- Act as a resource for colleagues, offering feedback on decisions and continuous improvement strategies.
- Foster a spirit of trust, elevate risks, and communicate dependencies promptly to allow for mitigation and/or strategic reaction.
- Exemplify a proficient understanding of the business landscape and analyze market trends and industry dynamics to inform decision-making.
- Streamline processes and operational workflows within the product delivery and evaluation lifecycle.
- Guide teams through changes within the department’s scope, ensuring successful adaptation to evolving strategies and processes.
- Apply strategic thinking to department initiatives, aligning projects with organizational goals and contributing to departmental strategies.
- Contribute to the development of team members, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff, supporting their professional development.
- Facilitate collaboration among teams and business units to ensure success in department initiatives.
- Build relationships with internal colleagues and external customers, focusing on enhancing departmental outcomes.
- Convey information clearly to diverse audiences within the department.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of work experience in project management, product strategy, management, delivery, or commercial business operations.
- Proven experience in leading large and complex projects with significant resource requirements and risk.
- Healthcare industry experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Effective collaboration skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at a high level.
- Solid understanding of the business landscape, market trends, and industry dynamics.
- Adept at problem-solving and decision-making.
- Ability to work effectively in ambiguity and uncertainty.
- Proficient in project and program methodologies.
- Experience in training and mentoring team members.
Preferred Qualifications

- PMP certification.
- Strong business intelligence skills.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$67,900.00 - $182,549.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
