As a Vice President, Product Manager on the Chase Travel Customer Growth and Relevance team, you will help build the tools and capabilities that drive customer loyalty and engagement across the Chase Travel platform and own one of the team's focus areas. Depending on the pillar you own, this may include building new capabilities that deliver more relevant, tailored experiences to customers who visit the platform, so each cardmember's travel journey feels more personal and more useful.
You will work closely with partners across product, engineering, data science, analytics, design, and marketing to turn data and customer insights into measurable growth. This role suits a self-starter who is comfortable with data, builds well through ambiguity, and can bring structure to new problem spaces in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Leads end-to-end product ownership of a dedicated pillar within the Customer Growth and Relevance team, which may include new capabilities that deliver more relevant customer experiences. Builds the business case and secures leadership buy-in to prioritize the investment, then owns roadmap execution and measurable outcomes across customer engagement, loyalty, retention, and booking growth.
- Helps shape the vision, strategy, and roadmap for delivering relevant experiences to customers on the Chase Travel platform, defining how customer data, behavioral signals, and models are used to deliver relevant content, offers, and recommendations across the travel journey.
- Uses data and insights to identify growth opportunities, frame customer problems, and prioritize the highest-impact initiatives; defines success metrics and KPIs and holds the team accountable to them.
- Designs, runs, and interprets experiments (A/B and multivariate testing) to validate hypotheses, optimize customer experiences, and inform iterative product decisions. Operates with a self-starter mindset in ambiguous problem spaces, turning early-stage concepts into clear problem statements, testable hypotheses, and sequenced, deliverable initiatives.
- Owns the product roadmap and backlog for their pillar, aligned to the team's priorities and Chase Travel strategy, translating loyalty and engagement goals into prioritized features and capabilities that scale across channels.
- Develops a deep understanding of customer segments, behaviors, and travel journeys through quantitative analysis and qualitative research, translating insights into product requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Partners closely with engineering, data science, analytics, design, marketing, and rewards/loyalty partners to align capabilities to Chase Travel priorities and customer needs.
- Leads, coaches, and develops a direct report, setting clear ownership, expectations, and growth goals while fostering a culture of curiosity, accountability, and customer obsession.
- Balances relevance, customer experience, scalability, data privacy, and governance trade-offs to meet evolving business needs while maintaining platform stability and customer trust.
- Partners with stakeholders to prioritize features, enhancements, and technical debt, managing dependencies and ensuring decision transparency. Communicates progress, results, and recommendations to senior leadership through clear, data-informed narratives.
- Leads Agile delivery of growth and personalization capabilities through disciplined planning, execution, and release management, and drives continuous improvement through metrics and feedback loops.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- 8+ years of experience (or equivalent expertise) in product management and/or a closely related domain, with a demonstrated record of delivering measurable business and customer outcomes, ideally in growth, engagement, loyalty, personalization, or consumer digital products. Advanced knowledge of the product development lifecycle, including product discovery, UX/design collaboration, delivery, launch, and ongoing optimization
- Proven ability to lead end-to-end product lifecycle activities—problem framing, customer and stakeholder discovery, ideation, strategy definition, requirements and acceptance criteria, and value/benefits management
- Strong data fluency and comfort working with data, including defining metrics, analyzing customer behavior, independently exploring data, and partnering with analytics and data science teams to generate actionable insights
- Hands-on experience with experimentation and test-and-learn practices, including hypothesis design, A/B testing, and interpreting results to drive product decisions. People management experience, including coaching and developing product talent
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in ambiguity, with a self-starter mentality and a track record of building new capabilities from early concept to scaled delivery. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to technical and non-technical audiences across all levels of seniority
- Comfortable using AI tools in daily work, such as generative AI assistants and AI-enabled analytics, to boost productivity and efficiency in research, analysis, documentation, and decision-making. Curious about new AI capabilities and willing to champion their responsible use across the team.
- Strong technical acumen to propose, evaluate, and influence product and feature explorations—especially personalization, recommendation and targeting capabilities, customer data platforms, and machine learning–driven experiences
- Demonstrated success driving organizational change, influencing without authority, and aligning stakeholders across product, engineering, data, marketing, operations, risk, compliance, and other partner functions
- Strong executive presence and presentation skills, including the ability to lead senior stakeholder discussions and drive decisions with clear, data-informed narratives
