An engineering firm located in Somerville, NJ is seeking a Civil Staff Engineer to join their team. This candidate will assist in environmental, civil and building projects for a wide range of environmental, engineering and construction projects.
Job Responsibilities:
- Preparation of contract documents, design plans, specifications and details for site, building and facility improvement projects;
- Client coordination and communication;
- Provide direction and management of project team members, subconsultants and subcontractors;
- Perform quality assurance inspections and documentation of ongoing projects;
- Interact with and assist on the development and completion of environmental remediation and redevelopment projects.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering;
- A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of environmental, civil and construction related project experience;
- Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Project
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate and present information in technical and non-technical terms;
- Ability and desire to work on multiple project assignments.
