Job Summary

The Senior Procurement Analyst will manage the procurement of Materials and Services for PSEG Nuclear Line of Business.  Manage the development, negotiate and implement the purchase orders, contracts, renewals, continuing to re-source recurring contractual commitments, manage emergent work in support of operations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Duties include being the procurement Subject Matter Expert for multiple business units or at the Enterprise level where such expertise is useful in leveraging procurement activities.
  • Work is primarily focused on emergent work within a single business unit, although the ability to apply expertise across business units is desired
  • Specific duties include: Supplier identification and qualification; procurement sourcing; RFP preparation; bid evaluation; negotiation, purchase order preparation; materials and services contract development and administration; material and service planning
  • Additional responsibilities for this position include sourcing, following the appropriate Procurement process and policy for sourcing Nuclear related contracts for PSEG

Job Specific Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree in Procurement or related field, and 5 years procurement work experience
  • Experience buying materials, services and negotiating with suppliers in a procurement organization
  • Valid driver license & ability to travel
  • General knowledge of UCC & Contract Law
  • Innovative in sourcing and procuring services
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word
  • Experience with ERP systems - Ariba, SAP
  • Demonstrated experience in contract negotiation and development; analytical skills
  • Must meet and maintain nuclear requirements for Unescorted Site Access.
  • A valid Real ID or an approved form of alternate documentation (see https://www.pseg.com/IDrequirement) is required for this position by May 7, 2027.
  • Compliance with the Department of Energy’s regulation 10 CFR 810 is required. 

 

Desired:

  • Graduate degree and/or Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M)/Certified Professional in Supply Management (C.P.S.M) designation
  • Demonstrated experience working on and with cross-functional commodity management teams
  • Demonstrated experience performing Procurement Analytics
