About the Opportunity

Are you a natural salesperson who loves developing people, building relationships, and growing a business?

Perspire Sauna Studio Middletown is seeking an energetic, results-driven Studio Manager to lead membership growth, develop a high-performing sales team, and expand our presence in the local community.

We’re looking for a hands-on leader who thrives on achieving goals, motivating others, and creating exceptional guest experiences.

This is not a traditional administrative management position. You’ll spend much of your time actively engaging with guests, coaching your team, driving sales, and building relationships throughout the community.

What You’ll Do

Drive Membership Sales & Growth

Take ownership of membership sales, lead conversion, and member retention.
Lead by example through studio tours, membership presentations, and closing sales.
Drive outbound sales efforts, including calls, texts, and follow-up with prospective guests and former members.
Personally manage membership cancellation requests, membership adjustments, and retention conversations, identifying opportunities to preserve member relationships and reduce cancellations.
Monitor sales activity, conversion rates, membership cancellations, and retention trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
Develop and execute strategies to achieve monthly membership and revenue goals.

Build & Coach a High-Performing Team

Recruit, train, motivate, and develop a strong team of Membership Sales Associates.
Lead ongoing sales coaching, role-playing, and performance feedback.
Establish clear expectations and create a culture of accountability, enthusiasm, and continuous improvement.
Recognize and develop high-performing employees while addressing performance gaps.
Lead from the front, setting the standard for sales execution and guest engagement.

Grow Our Community Presence

Develop relationships with local fitness studios, wellness providers, businesses, and community organizations.
Coordinate and participate in grassroots marketing initiatives, including approximately four community events or tabling opportunities per month.
Build referral partnerships and corporate wellness opportunities.
Collaborate with ownership to execute local marketing campaigns and generate qualified leads.
Track outreach efforts and convert community engagement into first visits and memberships.

Deliver an Exceptional Studio Experience

Create a welcoming, energetic, and professional environment for every guest.
Build meaningful relationships with members to support engagement and retention.
Support front-desk operations, studio readiness, and daily execution alongside the team.
Ensure consistent service standards, reliable staffing coverage, and smooth studio operations.
Resolve member concerns and sensitive account matters professionally and independently, ensuring a positive experience even when a member chooses to leave.

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

3+ years of customer-facing sales experience with a demonstrated record of achieving or exceeding sales goals.
2+ years of experience leading, coaching, or developing employees.
Strong interpersonal skills and confidence engaging with prospective customers.
A competitive, self-motivated personality with a passion for achieving measurable results.
Experience building customer relationships and driving repeat business.
Strong communication, organization, and follow-through.
Comfortable working independently and taking initiative.
Flexible availability, including some evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in boutique fitness, wellness, hospitality, retail, or membership-based businesses.
Experience managing sales pipelines, CRM systems, and lead conversion.
Experience with community outreach, partnerships, or local business development.
Familiarity with Mindbody or similar platforms.
Passion for health, wellness, and recovery.

What We Offer

Competitive base salary of $55,000–$60,000, depending on experience.
Performance-based bonus opportunities tied to membership growth and studio results.
Two weeks of paid time off.
Complimentary Perspire Sauna Studio membership.
Training and professional development.
A positive, collaborative, locally owned work environment.
Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a growing wellness business.

Who Will Thrive Here?

You’re a natural relationship builder who genuinely enjoys selling and helping others succeed.

You bring energy to the workplace, lead by example, and take pride in achieving measurable results.

You understand that growing a successful membership business requires consistent follow-up, exceptional guest experiences, strong team development, and meaningful community connections.

You’re proactive, resourceful, and motivated by the opportunity to build something successful.

If you’re a sales-driven leader excited to grow a business, develop a team, and make a difference in your community, we’d love to meet you.
