Estate Planning Attorney (Mid-Level)

Rosenblum Law | Clifton, New Jersey | Full-Time | In Office

$150,000 to $200,000 base + up to 25% bonus

Be the Attorney Who Makes Every Plan Right

You know what a well-drafted estate plan looks like, and you can spot what is wrong with one in minutes. What you may not have had is a role built around that skill, with the time and support to do it well and a say in how the whole department drafts.

Rosenblum Law has served New Jersey clients for over 20 years, and our estate planning practice is growing fast. We have the marketing engine, weekly workshops, and the client demand. As volume grows, quality has to keep pace. We are looking for an estate planning attorney to own a draft review, raise the quality of every plan we deliver, and help build the systems and team that make great drafts the norm.

You’ve Learned How to Practice. Now Help Build the Practice.

Rosenblum Law is growing its estate planning practice and looking for an experienced attorney who wants to take the next step beyond individual production.

Our paralegal team prepares initial drafts, and we are building a team of experienced Of Counsel attorneys to review that work. You will help establish the drafting and review standards, build and oversee the attorney review team, handle complex escalations, and continuously improve the systems behind the practice.

As we grow, you will also help expand the types of estate planning matters and planning strategies we offer, working directly with firm leadership to build the legal infrastructure, team, and processes needed to support that growth.

This is a chance to move from working inside someone else’s system to helping build and lead one.

What Makes This Role Different

Focused, high-value work. Your core job is reviewing and perfecting estate plans. No chasing business, no juggling a full consultation calendar.
Real impact. You are the reason families get documents they can rely on.
Build something. You help design the checklists, templates, and review process the department runs on. Your ideas get implemented, not filed away.
Develop a team. You help coach our attorneys, paralegals and drafters so first drafts keep getting better, and you help hire the people who will grow with us.
A clear path forward. We promote based on results, with growth into senior review and department leadership as the practice expands.
A life outside work. Predictable hours, and our attorneys rarely take work home.

What You Will Do

Build out the draft review team. Review wills, revocable trusts, powers of attorney, health care directives, and related documents for legal accuracy, internal consistency, and alignment with each client's goals before they reach the client.
Give feedback that sticks. Return clear, specific comments to drafters, and track recurring issues so the same mistake does not happen twice.
Build the review system. Create and maintain review checklists, quality standards, and turnaround targets so every plan gets the same thorough review.
Improve the templates. Work with our Attorneys to refine our templates, clause library, and drafting SOPs based on what you see in review.
Train and develop the team. Coach paralegals and drafters, run short training sessions on common issues, and help onboard and evaluate new team members.
Handle complex drafting. Draft or revise plans that need an attorney's hand, such as specialized clauses, blended families, or special needs planning.
Support the client experience. Join strategy sessions and signing ceremonies as needed to answer questions and confirm the plan fits the client.
Stay current. Keep up with estate, tax, and elder law developments and update our documents when the law changes.
