We focus on New Jersey, not the whole country. Our mission is to support the local economy by helping residents find work close to home and helping employers hire great local talent faster. Every listing, alert, and feature is designed with New Jersey’s communities in mind.
4. How do I create a job seeker account?
It’s quick and easy! Click “Sign In” at the top of the page, then select “Create New Account.” Enter your details, choose a plan for full access, and check your email for confirmation.
Currently, we don’t accept direct resume uploads through the site, but you can email your resume to hello@jerseyhired.com, and we’ll add it to our candidate database for our recruitment partners.
5. Is it free to search and apply for jobs?
You can browse a limited selection of job listings for free. To view and apply to all open positions and access advanced search features, our job seeker plans start at just $3 per week, with no long-term commitment.
6. How do I upload my resume?
While resume uploads aren’t available on the site yet, you can email your resume to hello@jerseyhired.com, and our team will include it in our candidate database.
7. Can I set up job alerts?
Yes! Enter your email on our homepage to receive updates when new jobs are posted. You can choose between weekly or real-time alerts, and soon you’ll be able to customize them by job type and location.

When you find a listing that interests you, click “Apply Now” and follow the employer’s instructions. Some applications will be submitted directly through their website, while others may require a resume or cover letter upload.
9. Can I save jobs for later?
We’re working on adding this feature soon! For now, you can bookmark your favorite job listings in your web browser to easily return later.
10. How do I post a job on Jersey Hired?
Posting a job is simple. Click “Post a Job” in the top right corner, complete the short form, submit payment, and your listing will be reviewed. Most job posts go live within an hour.
11. How much does it cost to post a job?
A single job post costs $99 USD, plus any applicable taxes. We also offer discounted multi-posting packages (5, 10, 15, 20, or unlimited listings).
12. Can I edit or remove a job posting after it’s live?
Yes. You can make changes or remove a post anytime using the link in your confirmation email or by signing into your account.
13. How can I attract the best candidates?
Write a clear, engaging job description that includes your company’s values, benefits, and hiring timeline. For even greater visibility, consider a featured or highlighted posting. Need help? Our team can write or review your job ad at no extra cost.
14. Do you offer recruitment services?

Click “Forgot Password” to reset your credentials. If you’re still having issues, email hello@jerseyhired.com, and our support team will help you log back in.

Sign in and visit “Manage Account” to update your profile, company info, or billing details. When you click “Sign In,” you’ll usually receive a magic link via email, no password needed.
