HD MicroSystems (HDM) is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to drive customer satisfaction, quality excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives. In this highly visible role, you will serve as the voice of the customer, lead quality improvement projects, manage customer quality concerns, and support strategic business growth.
HD MicroSystems is a joint venture between Resonac and Qnity and the world's largest supplier of polyimide and PBO precursor chemistries used in advanced microelectronic applications.
This role is a fully onsite position located in Parlin, New Jersey.

What You Will Do
- Serve as the primary quality contact for assigned customers.
- Lead customer complaint investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective actions.
- Communicate quality updates, complaint resolutions, and roadmap progress to customers.
- Drive customer-focused quality and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage quality activities for assigned products, including process changes and SPC initiatives.
- Lead ISO 9001 and customer audits.
- Support new product development, qualification, and commercialization activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams to improve quality, service, and customer satisfaction.
What We Are Looking For
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field.
- 8+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing, or Continuous Improvement.
- Experience working directly with customers and managing external communications.
- Strong knowledge of quality tools and statistical methods, including DOE, Control Charts, Gage R&R, and ANOVA.
- Experience with Minitab, JMP, or similar statistical software.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
- Semiconductor, electronics, specialty chemicals, or advanced manufacturing experience.
- Experience with FMEA, Cause & Effect analysis, and risk assessment tools.
- Six Sigma certification.
- Experience working in a global environment.
- Prior leadership experience.

The Pay range for this role is $111,580.00 - $175,340.00 Annual
