MAJOR FUNCTION:
The Medical Biller’s general responsibilities include accurately billing patient accounts, submitting accurate claims, ensuring timely reimbursement and confirming proper documentation is occurring in the patient accounting system.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required. College coursework or degree preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in a hospital, physician practice, or health insurance environment required.
- At least 1 year of medical billing experience strongly preferred.
