Job Description
The Inside Sales Representative manages inbound customer inquiries for truck parts and service solutions, builds lasting customer relationships, and drives new business opportunities. This role identifies customer needs, recommends suitable products and services, prepares quotes and proposals, and collaborates closely with internal teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment and high levels of customer satisfaction. The position requires strong communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to work effectively with sales and CRM systems to maintain a consistent pipeline of prospects.
Responsibilities
- Manage inbound customer inquiries related to truck parts and service solutions in a professional and timely manner.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products, services, and solutions that align with their requirements.
- Prepare, present, and follow up on quotes and proposals, ensuring accuracy and responsiveness.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to encourage repeat business and long-term loyalty.
- Generate new business opportunities through proactive outreach and effective inside sales techniques.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including parts, service, and operations, to ensure accurate order fulfillment and a seamless customer experience.
- Follow up consistently on sales opportunities to maintain a healthy pipeline of prospects and ongoing sales activity.
- Utilize CRM and company systems to document customer interactions, track sales activity, and maintain up-to-date account information.
- Stay informed about current product offerings, industry trends, and competitor activities to support effective sales conversations.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
- Make outbound calls as needed to existing and potential customers to promote products, services, and special offers.
- Support inside sales operations by coordinating with colleagues, sharing information, and contributing to team goals.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in inside sales, customer service, or account management.
- Experience in the truck, automotive, heavy equipment, parts, or service industry.
- Automotive industry, particularly in sales or customer service roles.
- Knowledge of truck parts and service operations is a plus.
- Experience providing inside sales support in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with industry trends and competitor offerings in the truck or automotive sector.
Work Environment
This role is fully in-office at a Fairfield-area location, providing a structured and collaborative work setting. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., offering consistent daytime hours. The environment involves frequent phone and computer use, working with CRM and company systems, and close collaboration with parts, service, and other internal teams to support customers and sales activities.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fairfield, NJ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
