The Role:

We're looking for someone who can help patients understand their dental treatment costs and make financial decisions with confidence. As Front Desk Supervisor, you'll present treatment plans, set up payment arrangements, and manage patient accounts. You'll be the person who makes dental care financially accessible while ensuring the practice gets paid for the care we provide.

What You'll Do:

Present treatment plans and financial estimates to patients in a clear, compassionate way Explain costs, insurance coverage, and out-of-pocket expenses Create customized payment arrangements and financing options that work for patients Process payments and set up payment plans Manage patient billing and accounts receivable Follow up on outstanding balances with professionalism and empathy Handle patient questions and concerns about their accounts Work with the front desk and clinical teams to ensure accurate billing Maintain accurate patient financial records in the practice management system Send statements, make collection calls, and resolve billing disputes Help patients navigate financing options (CareCredit, in-house payment plans, etc.) Meet with patients before or after treatment to discuss financial responsibilities

What You Need:

2-3 years of experience in dental billing, financial coordination, or patient accounts is required Strong understanding of dental terminology, procedures, and treatment planning Excellent communication skills—you need to explain costs clearly and have sometimes difficult conversations Ability to build rapport quickly and make patients feel comfortable discussing money Experience with dental practice management software Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Denticon experience is preferred Professional phone manner for collection calls Empathy and patience when working with patients facing financial challenges
