Central America Logistics Coordinator
Location: Any Bridor North America location
Reports to: Logistics Director
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Position Summary
Bridor is seeking a Central America Logistics Coordinator to support continued sales growth throughout the Central American market. This position coordinates customer orders, inventory, transportation, export documentation, and customer service activities to help ensure products are manufactured and delivered accurately and on time.
The Central America Logistics Coordinator works closely with Sales, Planning, Transportation, Distribution, Quality Assurance, Customs, and Customer Service. The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, comfortable working across multiple systems, and able to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish.
This position may be based at any Bridor North America location, including Boucherville, Quebec; Bridgeport, Connecticut; Vineland, New Jersey; or Salt Lake City, Utah.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Central America sales team and guide team members through company processes.
- Enter and manage customer orders in SAP.
- Prepare commercial invoices and export documentation for customs clearance.
- Coordinate inventory transfers for customer orders and product samples.
- Support logistics and transportation activities for customers throughout Central America.
- Partner with Sales when opening new customer accounts to establish logistics requirements.
- Use customer systems and online portals to validate and transmit data.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicator reports.
- Work with Customer Service to address logistics-related customer concerns.
- Monitor operational issues and communicate available alternatives when necessary.
- Provide backup support to the Distribution, Transportation, Customs, and Customer Service teams.
- Travel occasionally to Central America to meet with customers and internal teams.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in logistics, business administration, accounting, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least two years of experience in the food industry.
- Three to five years of customer service experience.
- Ability to read and speak Spanish.
- Knowledge of transportation capacity, lead times, Incoterms, and customs requirements.
- Knowledge of distribution and warehousing, preferably involving frozen food products.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including completing forms and searching, sorting, and filtering data.
- Experience using SAP, Retail Link, SPS Commerce, or Salesforce is preferred.
- Strong computer skills with a high level of data-entry accuracy.
- Comfortable working with multiple systems, applications, and online portals.
