Job DescriptionCDM Smith currently has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Manager within our North Transportation Group. In this position, you will work with a dynamic team to manage scope, schedule, and budget for toll pricing, traffic and revenue forecasting services related projects in the mid-Atlantic region of the United States. This position will also assist in business development and proposal writing activities. CDM Smith has been providing tolling/traffic & revenue services to our clients for over 50 years. Our tolling services have spanned the areas of concept, planning and design for pricing, traffic & revenue, operations, feasibility, and technology projects.

**We are open to filling this position in the following offices: Edison, New Jersey, Wayne, PA or Philadelphia, PA. This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule.**
As a member of this team, you will contribute to CDM Smith’s success by:
• Developing and managing scope, schedule, and budget for toll pricing/traffic & revenue related projects
• Leading and managing transportation toll projects for traditional toll roads and express lanes
• Managing technical staff performance on assigned projects
• Providing Quality Control/Quality Assurance for key deliverables related to the projects you manage and assistance on projects managed by others
• Delivering tolling/traffic & revenue projects for our existing clients
• Supporting feasibility assessments
• Interfacing and conducting meetings with transportation agencies related to tolling and pricing.
• Conducting business development efforts by cultivating new client relationships
• Attending local and national conferences and participating in professional tolling organizations to elevate the visibility of CDM Smith
• Assisting in mentoring staff, guide R&D initiatives and helping expand our transportation practice in the Eastern U.S. market
Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree.
• 10 years of related experience.
• PMP (PMI), CCM or DBIA certification is required (within 12 months of hire or promotion onto the Approved Project Manager list). Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Preferred Qualifications• Previous experience managing pricing/traffic & revenue toll projects, strongly preferred
• Understanding of traffic demand models and econometric forecasting
• Familiarity with freeway/expressway traffic operations and assessment
• Strong experience meeting and working with local and national toll agencies
• Demonstrated business development experience
• Excellent leadership and communication skills

Additional Pay Range InformationCDM Smith is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. This pay range is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels for the geographic location assigned to the position. In addition to geographic location, a candidate’s salary is determined by several other factors including, but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, relevant work experience, skills, required certifications, and education/training.
Additional CompensationAll bonuses at CDM Smith are discretionary and may or may not apply to this position.
