This role is ideal for a creative designer who has a strong foundation in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop and is interested in developing a career in packaging design, production, and product development.
You will work closely with the Packaging, Product Development, Merchandising, and Production teams to take packaging concepts from initial artwork through final production. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and eager to learn the technical side of packaging.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the design and development of packaging graphics for consumer products and retail programs.
- Create and update packaging artwork, layouts, labels, inserts, hangtags, cartons, bags, sleeves, and other packaging components.
- Prepare production-ready artwork and mechanical files in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, working from existing packaging templates, dielines, and brand guidelines.
- Make revisions based on feedback from internal teams, customers, vendors, and factories.
- Review artwork carefully for typography, dimensions, colors, images, barcodes, copy, logos, and other production details.
- Assist with the creation of packaging mockups, presentations, and visual concepts.
- Coordinate with overseas suppliers and factories to resolve artwork and production questions, and review factory proofs, samples, and pre-production artwork, communicating corrections as needed.
- Maintain organized artwork files and version control.
- Help ensure packaging artwork meets customer, retailer, brand, and production requirements, and assist with color, print, material, and finishing specifications.
- Conduct prepress checks and identify potential artwork or production issues before files are released to vendors or factories.
- Support multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Stay current with packaging design trends, retail trends, materials, and production techniques, and perform other design and packaging-related responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications

- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to take direction and incorporate feedback quickly.

What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who combines creative thinking with strong production discipline — comfortable asking questions, catching small details before they become production problems, and taking ownership of their work.
You don't need to know everything about packaging on day one — we're looking for a strong design foundation and genuine eagerness to learn the packaging development process.
This position provides an opportunity to work hands-on with real consumer products and gain experience across design, packaging development, print production, suppliers, and retail requirements.
A portfolio demonstrating graphic design and/or packaging work is required. Packaging, branding, print, retail, consumer product, or production-related projects are strongly preferred.
