SENIOR ASSOCIATE / VICE PRESIDENT, STRUCTURED FINANCE
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The position is responsible for the process of preparing commercial real estate loans for financing, from the signing of a term sheet through the closing of financing, as well as ongoing portfolio monitoring and maintenance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Manage the full transaction lifecycle from signing of a term sheet: due diligence coordination, loan document negotiation, and closing
- Assist in the negotiation of loan documents (commitment letters, loan agreements, guarantees) with lenders and their counsel
- Serve as primary point of contact for lenders throughout the loan term
- Manage post-closing financial integration for new assets
- Track all outstanding debt: maturity schedules, rate structures, covenant requirements, and reserve/escrow balances
- Maintain a financing pipeline and maturity ladder for leadership visibility
- Oversee compliance with loan covenants, reporting requirements, and structured finance documentation post-closing
- Serve as primary finance liaison to real estate operations, legal, and executive teams
- Mentor and develop junior analysts/associates supporting financing execution
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years’ experience in either real estate or finance including specifically real estate loans
- Well-organized; independent work ethic
- Analytical and strong attention to detail
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple complex transactions simultaneously under tight deadlines
- Technical: Computer literate, including: Word and Excel
Salary - $130 - $185k, offered salary & title to commensurate with experience
