Volunteer Services
The Volunteer Coordinator will:
- Develop and oversee volunteer recruitment strategies; coordinate volunteer onboarding, orientation, and training programs. Schedule volunteers based on availability and Volunteer Services Program needs.
- Exercise independent judgment in creating volunteer program policies and procedures. Take regulatory requirements (Joint Commission, etc.) into consideration. Advance service excellence among all volunteers through implementation of programs and processes that furthers volunteer utilization.
- Align volunteer activities with organizational mission and strategic priorities and identify opportunities to expand volunteer involvement and impact. Develop and independently administers the Volunteer Services strategic plan. Analyze organizational needs and determine volunteer program priorities.
- Manage the volunteer services budget. Has authority to approve program expenditures and allocate volunteer resources.
- Represent the organization with external agencies and educational institutions. Build relationships with community groups and organizations to recruit volunteers
- Address volunteer concerns and resolve conflicts. Provide guidance and direction to volunteers and volunteer team leaders
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred and two to five years of customer service, retail, public relations and/or volunteer services and recruiting experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively with personnel at all organizational levels, particularly senior management, orally and in writing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office to be able to efficiently and effectively communicate data, correspondence and educational programs. Knowledge of databases and the ability to learn about and assist in training for software upgrades and new application installations.
- Demonstrate skills such as planning, organizing, and analyzing the customer experience and volunteer services feedback.
- Knowledge of customer service, complaint management, and service recovery.
- Requires solid interpersonal skills for effective communication within all customer groups. Supervisory experience is helpful.
- Must be detail-oriented, have multitasking abilities, and be able to work independently.
- Ability to function effectively independently, deal with sensitive issues and maintain confidentiality.
Salary Range: 47,715.00 - 76,336.00 USD
We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.
The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
