Vice President of Sales

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Vice President of Sales to lead our commercial sales strategy and accelerate growth across key healthcare markets.
Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, the Vice President of Sales will play a critical leadership role in expanding strategic partnerships with employers, payers, healthcare organizations, clinics, and other key stakeholders. This leader will be responsible for developing and executing a scalable go-to-market strategy, driving revenue growth, strengthening our market presence, and building and leading a high-performing sales organization.
The ideal candidate is a strategic, hands-on sales leader who understands complex healthcare sales, thrives in an evolving environment, and has a demonstrated ability to turn relationships and market opportunities into meaningful business growth.
Job Purpose: The Vice President of Sales is responsible for leading the company’s growth through strategic sales initiatives. This role will drive revenue by building partnerships with employers, payers, clinics, and other healthcare organizations. The VP of Sales will lead a high-performing team, refine our go-to-market strategy, and ensure scalable revenue generation in alignment with company goals.
Essential Functions and Accountabilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy targeting key fertility stakeholders (employers, insurers, fertility clinics, and providers).
- Identify new business opportunities and cultivate partnerships across healthcare, benefits, and tech ecosystems.
- Build and manage a high-performance sales team with clear KPIs and revenue targets.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Clinical teams to align offerings with market needs.
- Lead enterprise sales cycles, including RFPs, proposal development, pricing strategy, and contract negotiations.
- Maintain deep understanding of the fertility market, competitive landscape, and emerging trends.
- Report on pipeline, forecasts, and sales performance to executive leadership.
Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and scale a high-performing sales team.
- Set team targets, manage performance, and oversee hiring and training.
- Align cross-functional efforts with Marketing, Product, and Clinical teams.
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and results.
Academic Training:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required.
- MBA or equivalent graduate degree strongly preferred, especially with a focus on healthcare, strategy, or sales leadership.
- Additional certifications (e.g., in healthcare management, sales strategy, or data analytics) are a plus.
Position Requirements/Experience:
- 10+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in healthcare, fertility, or employee benefits.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Strong network within employer benefits, payer, or fertility clinic sectors.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
Technical Skills:
- CRM & Sales Tech: Proficient in Salesforce or equivalent CRM; experienced with sales automation and pipeline management tools.
- Data & Reporting: Strong analytical skills; ability to track KPIs, forecast revenue, and use BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau) for decision-making.
- Healthcare Systems: Familiarity with digital health platforms, EHR/EMR systems, HIPAA, and data standards like HL7/FHIR.
- Contract & Proposal Tools: Skilled in managing proposals and contracts using tools like DocuSign, PandaDoc, or Conga.
- Productivity Tools: Comfortable with Slack, Google Workspace, Asana, or equivalent for collaboration and sales team coordination.
- Presentation Skills: Able to build and deliver high-impact sales presentations to enterprise clients and executive leadership.
