How You Will Make History Here
The Senior Manager, Digital Shelf Content & Operations owns the end-to-end digital content experience across Campbell’s brands and priority retailers. This role ensures product content is complete, accurate, optimized, and live on time, from item kickoff and content development through syndication, validation, and ongoing maintenance.
What You Will Do…
- Own the digital shelf content strategy, operating model, and roadmap.
- Establish and report KPIs, including on-time activation, content accuracy and completeness, enhanced content coverage, search visibility, ratings and reviews, issue resolution, and priority SKU readiness.
- Analyze performance by SKU, brand, retailer, and category to identify gaps and recommend actions.
- Develop retailer-specific content strategies based on search trends, retailer capabilities, shopper behavior, and competitive activity.
- Manage the content process from item kickoff and asset collection through syndication, publication, validation, and maintenance.
- Establish clear timelines, ownership, service levels, and escalation processes.
- Ensure product information is complete and accurate within Salsify, Syndigo, and related source systems.
- Manage content syndication through APIs, retailer portals, data pools, manual uploads, and third-party partners.
- Validate that content is published correctly and resolve upstream data, asset, or process issues.
- Lead root-cause analysis for recurring content defects.
- Develop SEO keyword strategies by brand, category, and retailer.
- Use search, content-health, competitive, and shopper data to improve titles, descriptions, imagery, attributes, and enhanced content.
- Partner with Brand Marketing and agencies to manage ratings and reviews strategy, sampling plans, coverage, recency, and performance.
- Measure and communicate the impact of content improvements.
- Own digital shelf readiness for innovation, packaging updates, item transitions, and discontinuations.
- Integrate digital shelf requirements into commercialization and go-to-market timelines.
- Maintain readiness tracking with clear risks, dependencies, owners, and completion dates.
- Ensure priority SKUs meet Campbell’s digital shelf standards across key retailers.
- Build relationships with retailer content, digital merchandising, and item-setup teams.
- Monitor retailer requirements, capabilities, and submission processes.
- Represent digital shelf requirements in cross-functional planning and technology discussions.
- Serve as the business expert for PIM, DAM, GDSN, syndication, retailer portals, and reporting tools.
- Identify opportunities to simplify or automate processes.
- Evaluate new capabilities, including AI-enabled content tools, based on business value, cost, risk, and performance.
Who You Will Work With…
The role partners with Brand Marketing, Sales, eCommerce, IT, Master Data, Regulatory, agencies, vendors, and retailer teams to improve digital shelf readiness and performance.
What You Bring to the Table… (Must Have)
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, analytics, eCommerce, communications, or a related field.
- Eight or more years of experience in eCommerce, digital shelf, CPG marketing, category management, content operations, or a related discipline.
- Experience managing content across major retailers such as Amazon, Walmart, Target, Kroger, and Instacart.
- Experience with platforms such as Salsify, Syndigo, PIM, DAM, GDSN, or retailer portals.
- Experience establishing KPIs, analyzing performance, and leading cross-functional initiatives.
It Would be Great if You Have… (Nice to Have)
- CPG or consumables experience preferred.
- Experience with SEO, enhanced content, ratings and reviews, automation, or AI-enabled content capabilities preferred.
Compensation and Benefits:
The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between
$150,600-$207,100
Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
