Position Overview
The Call Center Representative provides professional customer support through inbound and outbound calls. The role provides accurate information about products, services, policies, account details, billing, shipping, warranties, and service status while helping customers resolve issues. Representatives also handle complaints, escalate complex matters, maintain customer records, and work with other call center staff to support service quality.
This position is located in Manhattan, New York.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound customer calls.
- Provide accurate information about products, services, policies, and accounts.
- Troubleshoot customer issues and guide callers through solutions.
- De-escalate complaints and escalate complex matters as needed.
- Provide billing, shipping, warranty, and service status information.
- Review and update customer records.
- Maintain a professional tone during customer interactions.
- Collaborate with call center staff to improve service quality and support new hire training.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least 6 months of call center or customer service experience is preferred.
- Strong communication and active listening skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Ability to handle sensitive or difficult situations professionally.
- Professional customer service approach.
- Open availability Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM.
- Must be able to work fully onsite in Manhattan, NY.
Pay Range
USD $25.00 - USD $28.00 /Hr.
