Job Summary
The Sr Director, Enterprise Strategy leads Campbell’s Enterprise Strategy function and is responsible for the successful execution of critical strategic processes and initiatives. This role will be expected to drive business performance by developing compelling, data-driven insights and recommendations, and serving as a strategic thought partner to business leaders. Primary responsibilities of the role include leading Campbell’s Board of Directors’ (BOD) meeting process and content – working side by side with Campbell’s CEO and key Operating Committee members to plan for the 6 annual BOD meetings – as well as leading Campbell’s strategic planning process, including an annual refresh of the enterprise Situation Analysis, Strategic Plan, Annual Operating Plan, and Strategic Contingencies. In addition, the role leads cross-functional initiatives to execute against enterprise and divisional strategies. The role will directly manage a team of two strategy resources to support the delivery of these priorities.
This is a highly visible role that reports to the SVP, Corporate Strategy and Development and involves frequent interaction with Senior Management, including the CEO and Operating Committee members, as well as cross-divisional leadership. A partnership-led, service-oriented mindset will be required to build and sustain key relationships to make this role successful in driving our enterprise strategies forward.
This role will be based out of Camden, NJ. Limited travel will be required to other locations.

Leadership of:
Campbell’s BOD meeting preparation, including agenda-setting, content development, and process managementStrategic planning process, including:Situation Analysis to identify external and internal key issuesEnterprise Strategic Plan for divisions and key corporate functions (e.g., ESG, IT, HR, SC) Enterprise Annual Operating Plan for divisions and key corporate functions (e.g., ESG, IT, HR, SC)Strategic Contingency Plan Content development and related communications to drive clarity and alignment around strategic imperatives with Campbell’s BOD, Operating Committee, Extended Leadership Team, and the broader organizationCritical enterprise strategic projects to support growth and change agenda (e.g., portfolio evaluation)Enterprise strategy function, including recruiting and developing high potential talent, establishing team priorities/workstreams, and building capabilities to enhance team effectivenessServe as strategic thought partner to CEO, Operating Committee, and Extended Leadership Team; provide insights and recommended actions based on industry trends and key business issuesDevelop collaborative, effective partnerships with all Divisions and Functions; confront issues and identify alternate paths to improve performance and accelerate progressIdentify opportunities for growth and margin expansion across the business through quantitative/qualitative analysis of market potential, consumer/customer needs, the competitive landscape, and other relevant considerations; establish clear business cases for strategic priorities and investments, as neededSupport development of short and long-term business plans and business reviews outside of the typical strategic planning processSupport business development; analyze strategic fit for potential acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic partnerships, and prepare recommendations based on due diligence findingsWho you will work with…

Job Requirements
B.A./B.S. (business-related field preferred, not required); MBA strongly preferredMinimum of 10+ years related experience post-MBA (or minimum of 12+ years related experience post-Bachelor’s degree) in corporate strategy, management consulting, investment banking, project management, business operations, and/or financeSuperior analytical and quantitative skills; ability to draw conclusions from complex dataCapacity to work collaboratively as well as independently with cross-functional teams with minimal direct supervision; Must be a self-starter and take initiative without direct instructionPoised, articulate presentation and facilitation skills, unafraid to raise issues and contrary opinions to executive leadershipExcellent written and oral communication skills; demonstrated leadershipAbility to influence others and drive complex problems toward resolution and adoptionExhibited ability to scope, plan, and execute large scale, complex projectsStrong organizational awareness – knows how to read organizational dynamics at the senior levels and navigate stakeholdersStrong listening skills – seeks to understand and spends time on learning history/context before looking to drive changeComfortable with ambiguity and ability to flex approach to change direction as neededDemonstrated discretion and independent judgment in handling of confidential information and matters of significanceHaving a working knowledge of the Consumer Products / Food industry is necessary to be most effective in role. Compensation and Benefits: The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between
$220,200-$302,800
Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
