Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Equity Derivatives Sales professional with 5–7 years of relevant markets experience to join our Global Equities team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with institutional investors, generating trade ideas, and delivering equity derivatives solutions across volatility, yield enhancement, hedging, monetization, and portfolio management objectives. The role requires a deep understanding of market dynamics and derivative strategies, along with cross-functional collaboration, partnering with trading, research, prime brokerage and other areas of the firm. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with a proven ability to build trusted client relationships, generate actionable trade ideas, communicate effectively under pressure, and contribute to a high-performing team culture.
Key Responsibilities
Client Coverage & Origination
• Build and maintain strong client relationships across the equity derivatives product suite through proactive engagement, market updates, and tailored product solutions.
• Market a broad range of equity derivatives products including listed, flex and OTC options.
• Identify client needs and originate trade ideas, hedging solutions, yield-enhancement strategies, and structured investment opportunities.
• Understand and communicate market drivers, volatility dynamics, positioning, flows, and macro themes impacting equity derivatives markets.
• Support senior sales professionals in expanding wallet share and deepening client penetration.
• Develop new client opportunities in coordination with broader equities, fixed income and investment banking coverage teams.
Execution & Internal Coordination
• Work closely with trading, legal, compliance, operations, and risk teams to execute client transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Coordinate pricing requests, term sheets, trade execution, confirmations, and post-trade support.
• Ensure smooth transaction lifecycle management from idea generation through execution and settlement.
Risk, Compliance & Governance
• Ensure all activities comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and market conduct standards.
• Maintain accurate client records, call reports, pipeline updates, and transaction documentation.
• Demonstrate strong awareness of suitability, conflicts, confidentiality, and conduct risk.
• Escalate issues appropriately and contribute to a strong control of culture.
Required Qualifications
• 5–7 years of experience in equity derivatives sales, structuring, trading, or a closely related markets role.
• Strong understanding of equity derivatives products, pricing concepts, payoff profiles, and risk sensitivities.
• Demonstrated ability to cover institutional clients and generate actionable trade ideas.
• Strong knowledge of global equity markets, volatility markets, and macroeconomic drivers.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
• Commercial mindset with proven ability to identify client opportunities and drive revenue growth.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple client requests in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant regulatory licenses or registrations as required by jurisdiction.
Preferred Qualifications
• Existing relationships with hedge funds, asset managers, private banks, family offices, corporates, or other institutional investors.
• Experience selling both flow and structured equity derivatives products.
• Strong quantitative aptitude and comfort discussing Greeks, volatility surfaces, dividends, correlation, and hedging mechanics.
• Advanced degrees, CFA, FRM, or other relevant professional qualification is a plus.
• Experience using Bloomberg, trading platforms, CRM systems, and internal pricing tools.

The salary offered will take into consideration an individual’s experience level and qualifications.
