General Manager - Glow Car Wash

Own Your Site. Build the Team. Grow With Us.

Compensation: $65,000–$75,000 base + monthly performance bonus!

The Opportunity

Glow Car Wash is looking for an experienced General Manager ready to run their location like an owner — not just supervise it. You'll have full accountability for your site's labor hours, team performance, and customer experience, with real input into how the business grows.

This isn't an entry-level management role. We want someone who's already led teams, hit expectations, and knows what operational excellence looks like — and who's looking for a company where that experience is rewarded with autonomy and a clear path up.

About Glow Car Wash

Founded in 2015 in Central New Jersey, Glow Car Wash has grown quickly since then, with a total of 4 locations. We built the company on one idea: a fast, safe, high-quality wash paired with an exceptional experience for customers and employees alike.

What You'll Own

Performance: Own your location's revenue, labor, and cost targets — not just "hit goals," but see the numbers and make the calls
Team leadership: Hire, train, and develop a high-performing team; build the bench for your own next promotion
Membership growth: Drive membership sales and retention as a core revenue lever, with visibility into your site's numbers
Operations: Own staffing, scheduling, productivity, safety, and site standards
Site Prepardness: Ensure site cleanliness and opertaional standards are met on a daily basis
Customer experience: Set the tone for five-star service and resolve escalations with authority
Culture: Lead by example — hands-on, in the field, alongside your team (~90% of the role is outdoors and active)

What Sets This Role Apart

Real autonomy — you run your site's day-to-day decisions, not a checklist from corporate
Growth path — top-performing GMs move into multi-site, regional, or district-level roles as we expand.
Bonus tied to performance you control — Conversion rate, membership growth, and retention, not vague "goals"
Paid leadership development — ongoing investment in your management skills, not just onboarding

What We're Looking For

3+ years of management/leadership experience required, ideally with P&L, budget, or revenue-target ownership
Experience in retail, hospitality, restaurant, automotive, or car wash management preferred
A track record of building and retaining strong teams
Strong operational instincts: staffing, scheduling, cost control, customer recovery
Comfortable in a physical, outdoor, fast-paced environment
Valid driver's license; available weekends
