What You'll Get To Do:
(1-3 years) Experienced individual who is seeking to be further develop career in product marketing (merchandising) role where we prioritize managing business under of 4Ps (Product, Price, Promotion, Placement) and maintain career path within the team of 2 years cycles of tiered growth tied to additional Ps of responsibilities. Successful individuals will showcase quality of eagerness to adapt and learn, persevere through tough assignment and challenges, and show great team work and communication skills.
Pricing
- Maintain landed cost file and update on quarterly basis
- Maintain marginal profit file based on distribution update
- Support Sr. PM to negotiate with Japan competitive FOB for US market
Promotion / Performance
- Assist updating promotional roadmap
- Update and analyze promotional cost simulation and uplift forecast
- Review weekly POS performance and report findings of exception vs forecast
- Run marginal profit simulation based on PM guideline
Product
- Apply knowledge of latest trend and innovation to identify opportunity to improve product listing, digital merchandising and report
- Coordinate updating necessary basic product set up information – coordination with Japan BU
- Track competitive product launch and campaign to report findings to Sr. PM
- Demonstrate knowledge of technical product details
- Ability to demonstrate product functions and features
PSI
- Based on analysis of POS trend, create recommended forecast based on WOS guideline by Sr. PM
- Assist collaboration with sales team closely to understand the sales forecast and accounts situation and support
- Analyze latest POS trend vs sales forecast
- Assist preparing power point presentation to be reported in monthly meeting
Publish Reports
- Follow thru with business analysis for business reports to Japan
- Run Circana (market) data analysis and generate monthly report with key findings
- Update weekly competitive market report
- Update weekly report for promotion history in the market
Admin Tasks
- Identify management information needs, develop non-standard reports and statements when requested
- Work with Sr. PM to submit RFA (Request for Approval), and follow through
- Document RFA (Request for Approval) and track vs budget to ensure completion and in compliance
- Order and track sample for responsible category
Event / Show support
- Work with Sr. PM and marketing team to identify support requirements and execute as each event requires different level of involvements
Scope:
- This position will report directly to senior product manager with mentoring support from product manager.
QualificationsWhat You'll Bring:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 1-3 years of experience in consumer electronics industry preferred
- Experience in product management, sales and marketing team preferred
- Advanced MS office skills, Excel and PowerPoint is required
- Receptiveness to feedback and a desire to improve, learn and grow
- Experience with demand planning

- Ability to improve / eliminate manual processes
- Strong analytical ability & detail oriented
- Excellent Multi-tasking and time management skills
- Ability to work outside of regularly scheduled work hours as needed’

Other Requirements:

The wage range of $67,000 - $75,000 is just one component of Panasonic’s total package. Actual compensation varies depending on the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and incentives.
