You’ll work with dynamic teams and leading organizations to modernize core processes, enable digital transformation, and help clients unlock lasting value through SAP-enabled solutions.

In this SAP AI Transformation role, you’ll contribute to Agentic ERP transformations that help clients advance toward the autonomous enterprise. Combining SAP expertise with AI-enabled delivery approaches, cross-functional collaboration, and industry insight, you’ll help address complex business challenges and create measurable client impact.

Recruiting for this role ends on 1/15/2027.

Work you’ll do

As a Senior Consultant in Deloitte’s SAP practice, with a focus on SAP Finance, you will work side by side with functional and technical client team members to rapidly prototype and deliver high-impact solutions that support Agentic ERP transformations. With Deloitte Ascend™, you’ll leverage AI accelerators and SAP capabilities to help clients modernize business processes and advance toward the autonomous enterprise.

This role requires a highly motivated professional who moves with speed and precision, builds practical solutions, and engages confidently with senior stakeholders and delivery teams to help generate measurable business impact.

Own assigned SAP Finance and Controlling workstreams, including work-plan execution, dependencies, risks, issues, decisions, stakeholder coordination, and quality of deliverables.

Lead and facilitate opportunity-identification, fit-to-standard, autonomous solution-design, and playback workshops with client stakeholders and technical teams.

Translate finance requirements into SAP S/4HANA solutions and drive functional design and configuration across one or more FICO areas, including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, and Profitability Analysis.

Coordinate cross-functional integration requirements across procurement, sales, supply chain, tax, treasury, reporting, and other relevant workstreams.

Lead or oversee data migration, testing, defect resolution, cutover, deployment, hypercare, and stabilization activities.

Assess finance processes and design AI-enabled and automated improvements for close, reporting, controls, analytics, and process performance; use Deloitte Ascend™ accelerators where applicable, with human review and validation of AI-generated outputs.

Serve as a day-to-day client advisor by communicating progress, decisions, risks, and recommendations to business and senior client stakeholders.

Coach junior team members, review work products, and contribute to proposals, estimates, reusable assets, and SAP practice development.

A successful candidate would possess these skills:

Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Meticulous attention to detail and quality of work product

Ability to build and sustain professional relationships

Ability to lead projects or workstreams

Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor

Ability to meet deadlines

Ability to provide clear guidance to others

The team

Deloitte’s SAP practice helps clients design, implement, and sustain SAP-enabled transformations to enable an Autonomous Enterprise. Professionals in the practice work with leading organizations across industries to modernize operations, improve process performance, and unlock value through cloud, automation, analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor’s degree; or an associate degree and 6+ years of SAP, enterprise resource planning (ERP), or consulting experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.

5+ years of experience in SAP consulting, enterprise resource planning (ERP) implementation, or SAP/ERP technology transformation in a consulting or industry environment.

Experience supporting at least two full-lifecycle SAP implementations from project initiation through go-live and hypercare, with demonstrated ownership or leadership of an SAP Finance and Controlling workstream or workstream area on at least one implementation.

Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling functional activities on at least one implementation, transformation, or migration program.

2+ years of hands-on functional configuration experience in SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling (FICO) in one or more of the following areas: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, or Profitability Analysis.

Experience managing work plans, dependencies, risks, issues, decisions, deliverables, and team coordination.

Experience collaborating directly with client finance stakeholders to gather and document business requirements and support SAP solution design, configuration, testing, or deployment on at least one SAP implementation, transformation, or support project.
