Overview
A private family in Short Hills, NJ, seeks an experienced, highly organized, detail-oriented Live-In Executive Housekeeper to maintain their approximately 10,000-square-foot residence. The household consists of two adults and two school-aged children.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional who takes pride in maintaining an immaculate home, works independently with minimal supervision, and has exceptional organizational skills. The family seeks a proactive, reliable, discreet, and meticulous housekeeper who can anticipate household needs and keep the residence running smoothly.
Responsibilities
Perform daily housekeeping and thorough cleaning throughout the three-story residence.
Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation.
Manage all household laundry, including washing, ironing, folding, and properly putting away clothing and linens.
Organize closets, drawers, cabinets, and household storage areas.
Monitor household inventory, including groceries, cleaning products, and other essential supplies, and communicate when items need replenishing.
Receive and provide access to household vendors, contractors, and maintenance professionals as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of common areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and other living spaces.
Identify household maintenance concerns and communicate them promptly.
Take initiative in identifying tasks that need attention without requiring daily direction.
Maintain the family's privacy and confidentiality at all times.
Requirements
Prior experience as an Executive Housekeeper in a large private residence.
Strong knowledge of professional cleaning methods, products, and proper care of household surfaces.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to independently prioritize responsibilities and manage time efficiently.
Experience handling laundry, ironing, and wardrobe organization.
Professional, trustworthy, dependable, and discreet.
Comfortable working in a large, multi-level residence.

Salary and Benefits
Location: Short Hills, NJ
Schedule: Full-time, five working days per week, with two days off. Live-in accommodations may be available seven days per week.
Accommodations: Private bedroom and bathroom in the home's lower level, with access to a kitchen.
Compensation: $35–$40 per hour
Benefits: Paid vacation, paid sick leave, and a potential healthcare stipend.
