A private family is seeking an experienced, flexible, and highly organized Live-In or Live-Out Executive Housekeeper to work between two family residences in Short Hills and Princeton, New Jersey.
This unique position involves providing professional housekeeping services for a family of four in Short Hills and an older couple in Princeton. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, compassionate, and detail-oriented, enjoys maintaining beautiful homes, and is comfortable working in two different household environments.
The family seeks someone dependable, discreet, adaptable, and able to manage household responsibilities independently while maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness and organization.
Locations: Short Hills and Princeton, NJ.
Schedule: Five working days per week, including Saturday and Sunday in Short Hills and three weekdays in Princeton. Exact weekdays and days off to be determined.
Accommodations: Live-in accommodations available in Short Hills; overnight accommodations in Princeton to be confirmed.
Transportation: The family may arrange transportation between residences.
Compensation: $35–$40 per hour, pending final confirmation.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive housekeeping services at both family residences.
Perform daily cleaning, deep cleaning, and general household upkeep.
Handle all household laundry, including washing, ironing, folding, and putting away clothing and linens.
Maintain organized closets, cabinets, drawers, and household storage areas.
Monitor household supplies and communicate replenishment needs.
Assist with receiving deliveries and providing access to maintenance professionals and vendors.
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all household members.
Assist the older couple in Princeton with household tasks that may be physically challenging, including carrying laundry and managing household items.
Independently prioritize responsibilities and maintain consistent standards across both homes.
Respect the privacy and preferences of each household.
Requirements
Previous professional housekeeping experience in private residences.
Excellent cleaning, laundry, ironing, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Flexible and comfortable dividing the workweek between two residences.
