St. Mark Christian Academy is seeking a passionate and engaging Elementary Music Teacher to join our school community for the upcoming school year.
Position Details
- Schedule: 1 day per week
- Compensation: $175 per day
- Grade Levels: Elementary (PreK 3 - Grade 6)
Responsibilities
- Teach general music classes to elementary-aged students
- Create engaging and age-appropriate music lessons
- Foster a positive and encouraging classroom environment
- Introduce students to foundational music concepts, rhythm, singing, and musical appreciation
- Participate in preparing students for yearly holiday performance
- Attend yearly holiday performance
- Collaborate with school staff and administration as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience teaching music in a classroom setting required
- Ability to work effectively with elementary-aged students
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Passion for music education and student development
