Responsibilities:
Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient hematology and oncology services.
- Conduct inpatient consultations as needed.
- Develop and maintain a referral-based oncology practice.
- Participate in treatment planning and ongoing patient management.
- Ensure delivery of high-quality, evidence-based patient care.
Administrative and Leadership Responsibilities
- Lead the development and growth of oncology and infusion services.
- Establish clinical protocols, treatment pathways, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with nursing, pharmacy, operations, and information technology teams.
- Provide oversight of patient safety, regulatory compliance, and quality initiatives.
- Support implementation and optimization of Epic Beacon oncology workflows.
- Develop relationships with internal and community referral sources.
- Participate in strategic planning, program expansion, and operational improvement efforts
Position Qualification and Education:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and Medical Oncology.
- Eligible for medical licensure in the State of New Jersey.
- Demonstrated leadership experience preferred.
- Strong commitment to quality, patient safety, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
- Experience with oncology program development and infusion services is preferred.
