Dhaka Technologies Limited Company (DTLC) is hiring a Cryptographic Systems / Information Assurance Engineer on behalf of our client, an aerospace, aviation and defense company, for its Camden, New Jersey site. The client’s Integrated Systems and Encryption business is a recognized global leader in the design, development, and production of secure communication systems and products supporting mission-critical space, ground, air, and naval operations. The Information Assurance Systems Security Engineer is first and foremost a Systems Engineer who is also a subject matter expert in the development of systems and equipment that protect classified National Security information. This is a full-time, on-site position on a 9/80 work schedule with a base salary of $140,000 to $150,000. US citizenship is required, because the role requires an active Department of Defense Secret security clearance.

Job Description
The Information Assurance Systems Security Engineer is first and foremost a Systems Engineer who is also a subject matter expert in the development of systems and equipment that protect classified National Security information.
The ideal candidate possesses Systems Engineering experience combined with Information Assurance, Security, and Cryptography expertise, with demonstrated success contributing to NSA-approved products considered highly desirable.
Ideal Candidate
- Strong System Engineer with deep expertise in Information Assurance, cryptography and NSA Type-1 certification processes.
- 10 years of experience supporting the full system engineering lifecycle for high-assurance, mission critical defense communication systems.
- Combines both embedded systems integration experience with a strong understanding of secure networking and key management, and the ability to serve as a technical SME who can drive NSA certification activities from architecture through test.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Active DoD security clearance required (Secret minimum).
- 10+ years of Systems Engineering experience supporting Information Assurance systems.
- 5 years of experience with Systems Engineering lifecycle from concept through test, including architecture development, functional analysis, requirements allocation & traceability, trade studies, system synthesis, and integration.
- Hands-on system integration and test (I&T) experience for complex embedded or networked systems.
- Experience authoring and reviewing artifacts for formal design reviews.
- Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience.
- Proven track record in the architecture, design, analysis, integration, and test of NSA Type-1 certified or NSA-approved systems or equipment.
- Experience with security verification test planning and execution.
- Experience supporting NSA security Certification & Verification activities, including evidence production, test event support, and closure of certification findings.
- Familiarity with NSA certification artifacts and deliverables (multiple programs highly desirable).
- Exceptional security architecture development skills, including ability to make and defend complex security trade-offs in high-assurance systems.
- Knowledge of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), TLS, and certificate/key management.
- Understanding of systems including EKMS and KMI as applied to End Cryptographic Units (ECUs).
- Experience with secure networking protocols, red/black interface design, and embedded Linux development environments for cryptographic devices.
Preferred Additional Skills
- Experience with cybersecurity compliance and the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
- Cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP).
- Advanced MBSE experience is strongly desirable.
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
