Box Office Manager / Ticketing (Part-Time)

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Newton Theatre is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented individual to manage day-to-day box office and ticketing operations.
This is a hands-on position focused on building shows, selling tickets, and ensuring accurate box office operations, while providing excellent customer service to our patrons.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and manage events in ticketing software
- Sell tickets over the phone and assist customers with purchases
- Provide friendly, professional customer service to all patrons
- Schedule and oversee part-time box office staff
- Handle refunds and ticket exchanges
- Manage chargebacks and related issues
- Reconcile box office cash drawers at end of day
- Maintain accurate ticketing records and transactions
HOURS
- Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Additional hours required on show nights as needed
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience with ticketing systems preferred (ShowClix or similar)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Friendly, patient, and comfortable working with the public
- Strong communication skills
- Basic computer skills
