Clinical Lab Assistant, Full Time Evenings, ACL

Principal Accountabilities:

1. Accesses, labels, and processes laboratory specimens.
2. Loads specimens on lab analyzers and equipment.
3. Performs patient registrations and orders lab tests in computer.
4. Answers phone calls for laboratory information.
5. Produces lab reports, sorts, and delivers, 
6. Picks up lab specimen from various hospital procedure areas.
7. Processes and packs lab specimens for transport. 
8. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required: 
1. High School Diploma or equivalent. 
2. 0-3 years of experience as Lab Assistant or relevant area. 

Preferred:
1. Laboratory/physician office/clinic experience.
2. Medical terminology experience.
3. Experience in performing healthcare patient registration.
