Job Title: Junior Accountant
Location: Hybrid, Bridgewater, NJ
Compensation: $50,000-60,000/yr
Employment Type: Full-time, direct hire
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant. This role will support key accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and financial adjustments. The ideal candidate is motivated, organized, and eager to grow within a collaborative environment.
Schedule: Hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 days remote after training)
Important Note on Schedule:
This position will begin fully in-office to support hands-on training. Once training is successfully completed and the candidate can work independently, a hybrid schedule (3 days in-office, 2 days remote) will be offered.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions
- Perform account reconciliations and financial adjustments as needed
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Utilize SAP HANA and Microsoft Office for daily accounting functions
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate reporting
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
- 3–5+ years of accounting experience
- Experience with SAP HANA and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently after training
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
