The impact you will have in this role:

Being a member of DTCC’s Enterprise Transformation (ET) team, the Portfolio Management Senior Associate, will play a pivotal role in ensuring programs and initiatives deliver maximum value through focused portfolio oversight and strategic alignment. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in portfolio governance, investment prioritization, and stakeholder collaboration. The Portfolio Management Senior Associate  will partner closely with Finance, business units, and initiative teams to optimize resource utilization, monitor OKRs, and deliver executive-level reporting on portfolio health and outcomes.

Your Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide end-to-end tracking of portfolio performance, including execution health, trend analysis, and actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with Finance and initiative teams to monitor budgets, address variances, and optimize resource utilization across the portfolio.
  • Develop and implement performance tracking frameworks, ensuring consistent measurement across programs and portfolios.
  • Prepare and deliver senior management reports and presentations highlighting portfolio performance, analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions.
  • Facilitate the intake and vetting of new initiatives and programs, ensuring alignment with business priorities 
  • Ensure compliance with governance standards by monitoring adherence to Stage-Gate protocols and raising deviations or risks as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare gate review materials, including financials, objectives and key results, risk profiles, and value realization plans.
  • Facilitate gate reviews by coordinating with initiative and program teams, partners, and governance committees to assess readiness, execution health, and alignment with strategic objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience

Talents Needed for Success:

  • Communicates optimally in both verbal and written formats across diverse audiences.
  • Understands financial management principles and is able to interpret and apply budgets, variances, and resource utilization metrics. 
  • Ability to collaborate and build positive relationships, navigate partner dynamics, and influence outcomes effectively
  • Ability to harness data to generate actionable insights, inform decisions, track progress, and optimize performance.
  • Comfortably navigates change and adapts to changing priorities.
  • Proficient in Excel, including experience with pivot tables, lookup functions, and data visualization using charts and conditional formatting.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint with the ability to compose executive-level presentations that clearly communicate sophisticated data, strategic insights, and portfolio performance to senior partners.
  • Working knowledge of portfolio management tools and reporting platforms (e.g., Power BI, Planisware, Planview, PPM, etc.
  • Ability to create, leverage, and critically evaluate OKRs and KPIs to drive accountability and alignment across multiple programs
  • Familiarity with Stage-Gate governance processes and ability to support decision-making at key portfolio checkpoints.


The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
