Position Overview

Johnson & Johnson’s North America Global Services (GS) team is recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst, GS InnMed CFM. This Innovative Medicine Country Finance SFA role is Global (North America and OUS) and has high visibility.  The SFA will support all NA Innovative Medicine MRCs.  The position is the authority of the actuals, passionate about business understanding and cross-process coordination of the (US GAAP) Bravo financial results for External Reporting, driving balanced collaboration with Business Unit Finance, Corporate Services, A&D and Global Services Finance.

Responsibilities:

This Senior Financial Analyst role provides an outstanding experience to both business partnering and global finance leadership:

  • The SFA provides trusted business partners, across all levels, with the crucial Controllership Services that Enable Transformations, SigniFi Transact/Transcend and Influence Financial Decisions.  
  • This is truly a Global Role experience due to ongoing finance partnerships located in NAM & ASPAC (Manila).
  • Through special projects, such as Signfi, this role is at the forefront of influencing future technology solutions and providing support to cross-functional stakeholders to ensure next-gen technology solutions address Financial Reporting Compliance and Business needs.
  • The SFA will be responsible for providing direct financial leadership to the NAM Commercial organization. This individual would have active ownership for actuals reporting of US reported Sales, Gross Profit, Selling & Marketing, Admin and OIE P&L lines
  • Responsible for coordinating and facilitating financial statement reviews for Vice President of Commercial Finance
  • Responsible for actuals reporting of NA MD Direct to WW FP&A to satisfy compliance requirements and management reporting.   
  • Lead Canada financial reporting process including coordination of actuals reporting, managing BUF relationships improvements in close process and present to the country CFO
  • Co-Lead the analysis and presentation of US Balance Sheet, CAPEX and Global Cash Flow Statement to all Innovative Medicine Finance Leadership (Commercial, R&D and Supply Chain)
  • Responsible for approvals for 'actuals' submissions and various SOX controls process (e.g BVA02, BS75 Questionnaire, Sales Assertion, FR02, FR04) and partner with PWC, GAA and Compliance to satisfy audit requests and strengthen compliance
  • Face of Global Services Finance; be a link between Business Unit Finance (BUF) and GS Global Process Teams
  • Budget vs Actuals creation, alignment and coordination for commentary and approval
  • Member of local FD’s leadership team (LT); serve as one of the GS points of connection at BUF LT meetings
  • Provide financial leadership and business partner/decision support for the NA Commercial, Signifi Projects and local projects
  • Influence and work closely with business unit finance (BUF) and Global Service Finance on joint goals and objectives

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree, preferably a major in Accounting or Finance or another related field is required.
  • An advanced degrees or certifications such as MBA, CPA or CMA etc. is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of finance or related business experience is required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite of products (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), SAP and Blackline
  • The ability to think creatively and work in a team environment is required.
  • The ability to effectively take on leadership roles in various functions is required.
  • Strong financial analysis skills, the ability to partner with people at all organizational levels internally and externally, operate with a high degree of independence and the proven ability to lead and collaborate in a highly complex environment is required.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$77,000- $124,200

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
