We work hard every day to ensure that the original vision is met, starting with making the highest quality foods in our kitchens to running our business with integrity, transparency, and social and environmental responsibility.  IT’S AMAZING WHAT CAN HAPPEN WHEN YOU START COMPLETELY FRESH!    The Opportunity    Freshpet is seeking an experienced D365 F&O Solutions Architect – Finance to join our technology organization and serve as a senior finance systems leader. This role is responsible for the end-to-end design, implementation, and support of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance (and related systems) supporting accounting, finance operations, controls, and production-related finance in a manufacturing environment.  This is a highly collaborative role that partners closely with Finance, Accounting, Operations, Audit, and IT leadership to ensure systems are scalable, compliant, and aligned with business growth.  This is a hybrid or remote position depending on candidate’s location. Candidates who are within a commutable distance from one of our Freshpet offices (Bedminster NJ or Bethlehem PA) will be onsite (on average) 3 days per week. 15% travel will be required for remote candidates.     What you will do    Serve as the Finance domain subject matter expert and business partner for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.  Design and deliver end-to-end finance solutions supporting:  General Ledger, AP, AR, Fixed Assets  Cash & Bank Management  Budgeting and financial dimensions  Cost accounting, inventory valuation, and production-related finance  Identify business improvement opportunities, lead fit/gap analysis, solution design, and configuration of D365 Finance modules.  Partner with Finance and Accounting teams to ensure system design aligns with:  Internal controls  Audit requirements  Manufacturing and production finance needs  Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes and related system activities.  Design and maintain financial posting logic, dimension structures, and reconciliation processes.  Collaborate with IT and external partners on integrations with upstream and downstream systems.  Provide advanced (Level 2/3) production support, troubleshooting complex finance and posting issues.  Participate in release management, testing, and validation to ensure financial integrity during upgrades and enhancements.  Produce and maintain clear, audit-ready documentation for system configurations, processes, and controls.  Act as a key liaison between IT and business stakeholders, translating financial requirements into scalable technical solutions    What you will bring    Required Experience  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or equivalent experience.  10+ years of experience supporting enterprise financial systems in a manufacturing environment.  7+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX and/or D365 Finance, supporting:  Finance and accounting functions  Production-related finance and inventory accounting  Experience with at least two full-cycle ERP implementations, including one D365 Finance implementation.  Strong experience partnering directly with Finance, Accounting, and Audit teams.  Highly effective communication skills and proven experience collaborating effectively with business stakeholders   Core Skills  Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.  Ability to work independently while collaborating with business stakeholders to identify development opportunities while developing/maintaining roadmaps    Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.  Ability to document complex processes clearly and thoroughly.  Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment.    Preferred Qualifications  Consumer goods or food manufacturing experience.  Finance or accounting certifications (CPA, CMA, etc.).  Experience operating in regulated or audit-heavy environments.  Strong understanding of financial controls and compliance.    What We Offer    At Freshpet, we offer a competitive salary and an excellent benefits package, including medical, dental and vision insurance, basic and optional life insurance, short- and long-term disability protection, flexible spending accounts, and a 401(k) plan with company match, paid parental leave, pet insurance, tuition reimbursement, stock options, a generous PTO plan and so much more!    Our Commitment to a Diverse Workforce:    At Freshpet, we embrace and encourage our employees’ differences in age, sex, color, disability, ethnicity, family or marital status, gender identity or expression, language, national origin, physical and mental ability, political affiliation, race, religion, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, veteran status, and other characteristics that make our employees unique.   Freshpet aims to foster, cultivate, and preserve a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
