Internship program dates: June 8 - August 21, 2026

Education Required:

Engineering Student preferred 2nd year+

Preferred Majors: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering

General Description/Scope of Responsibilities (Internship): Project lead responsible for developing MST Laboratory asset register and capability data sheet. Develop list of all MST Laboratory Equipment (Small Scale Manufacturing and Analytical Instruments) Document current state, gather future-state requirements, conduct gap assessment and develop roadmap to future state, considering equipment, facilities, utilities, and personnel.

Essential Functions of the job:

  • Inventory all assets, ensure proper identification, entry in asset management program, capturing equipment specifications and capabilities.
  • Identify ongoing maintenance and calibration requirements, and ensure all equipment is included with contract lab support or site maintenance programs.
  • Inventory equipment records, turn-over packages, and commissioning documentation and technical document library.
  • Develop Design Capabilities sheet for each system including method of operation and technical specifications.
  • Evaluate current state of facility capabilities and work with stakeholders to identify potential future state needs.
  • Evaluate current and future state of supporting Utilities (HVAC, Electric, Water, waste water, etc.)

Bachelors: $27/hour USD

Masters: $30/hour USD

Salary Range: $ - $ per hour

Please note that the listed range reflects the base salary or hourly range only. Non-Commercial roles are eligible to participate in the annual bonus plan, and Commercial roles are eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
