- This lab based Application Engineer will manage assigned internal and external technical requests and projects for the Packaging & Labeling team within the Consumer Goods Adhesives (APC) group
- Plan and perform laboratory testing based on incoming customer requests and other internal projects; testing may include physical property measurements, performance testing, and applications methods to support product recommendations, troubleshooting needs, performance validation of new products, etc.
- Organize and analyze lab results using internal databases and other digital tools. Interpret data to make product recommendations, develop solutions, and/or propose subsequent experimental steps
- Prepare clear laboratory reports, technical presentations, and customer correspondence that communicate test methods, results, conclusions, and recommendations
- Support and communicate with both the APC Application Engineering Field Team and Sales Team from our Bridgewater site using a variety of digital tools
- Maintain laboratory inventory and ensure application and tests equipments are properly maintained, calibrated and safety checked; support laboratory organization, cleanliness, and safe operating practices
- Support and conduct customer lab demonstrations using application equipment
What makes you a good fit
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Packaging Engineering, or related technical discipline
- 0-3 years of technical industry experience. Experience with adhesives or packaging and labeling markets is preferred
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated organizational, project management, and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects, with strong analytical, problem solving, and mechanical skills
- Aptitude and ability to safely operate various adhesive applications equipment

The salary range for this role is $68,000.00-$82,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
